    Sir,

I have tried 6 separate times to reach you. You have ignored me 6 separate times.

Please be aware I did not appreciate your e-mail or insinuation that I am dishonest. I have a law enforcement background and my son is an active Police Detective in Henderson, Nevada. Anything said that would remotely suggest that I have acted improperly in this inquiry is not appreciated.

You write …. ” Now specifically regarding the downloads, which come to use separately from the casino download servers, we have had a problem receiving these specific stats the last week or so, since we have moved IP, from Telas to Peer1. “

If you have experienced any problem with your statistics …ANY PROBLEM….please fix your problem. I operate honestly. I have made 223 downloads available to your company in a 3 day period. Please report them, and the money generated from them, accurately….anything less is not acceptable.

    Thank You,

    Hi Pacificsun1,

I received your email and I read your post. As I explained in my last email (copy below) to you, if you have download redirect links on your website, clicks on this links is the not the equivalent of player downloads. That’s why I asked you where you got this information from: ‘I have 223 downloads in the past 3 days….’?, because it is highly unlikely that 234 clicks on download links on your website would translate to 223 downloads. Furthermore, you may be getting these downloads form other sources so in order for us to check ourselves it would be very helpful if you could tell me were you learned that you had received 223 downloads in 3 days.

Whatever downloads your players made they have been recorded. It is just that the download stats have not been available on Brightshare.

Please note that I’m only interesting in making sure that you get nothing less than what is owed to you.

    I’ll email you later today.

    Best regards,
    Lloyd

‘ May I please enquire: how do you know that 200 downloads were made in 3 days? Can you send me anything that shows this?

From my experience players like to click, but if they are surprised with a pop-up download file before they have reached the casino website they may in many cases decide to close the file and not proceed with a download off your website.

Regarding the number of players, all your players are automatically tagged with your affiliate ID which goes to Microgaming. Microgaming then update the casino PTS database (Player Tracking System) with the new player details that include your affiliate ID. We then produce all our affiliate reports as direct queries from the PTS database so that there is zero room (and may I please add desire – because we pride ourselves in running a very honest operation and also we need to have accurate accounting) to change player banner tags (affiliate IDs). Furthermore, the affiliate IDs (banner tags) are encrypted by Microgaming so that they can’t be changed, even if we wanted to, which we don’t.

Now specifically regarding the downloads, which come to us separately from the casino download servers, we have had a problem receiving these specific stats the last week or so, since we have moved IP, from Telas (sorry that’s Telus not Telas) to Peer1. However, this would not effect any of the other stats that are tracked and collected independently by Microgaming and then transferred to the casino. I apologize about the lack of download stats. I’m in touch with our IT department and I hope to have this up again in the next few days.

I’ll look into your stats again on Sunday when I’m at the office and get back to you again.’

    Hi Pacificsun1,

I spoke to our IT Department Head and he updated me as follows regarding the download stats:

All download stats have been recorded into the download server database, i.e. there is no information missing. The problem has been with the query that exports the stats to our affiliate reporting system which hasn’t been working since our IP swift over (this month). IT will be fixing the query in the next 24 hours so that you will be able to see all your downloads for this month.

I’ll be checking up with our IT tomorrow morning and I’ll update you accordingly.

I apologize to you and all our affiliates for the inconvenience of not having this important data.

Thank you for bring this problem to our attention.

    Best regards,
    Lloyd

Let me explain the facts Sir.

    1. I ran a “Betting Strategy” promotion featuring All Jackpots Casino.
    2. I did not offer links to your website.
    3. I offered Direct Downloads only.
    4. I received over 2,000 responses to my advertising in 3 days.
    5. Each respondent was given free access to this betting strategy.
    6. 312 respondents spent 20 minutes learning this betting strategy.
    7. 243 resondents chose to download your software and test this strategy.

    8. Your records indicate 22 respondents did.
    9. Your records indicate 221 people did not complete this download.
(these people spent 20 minutes learning this betting strategy)
    10. Your records indicate 1 player deposited. 1 PLAYER

Sir, Your records are not accurate. I have received e-mail from these respondents who have commented on this betting strategy after depositing and playing in your casino.

    Once Again

Fix Your Problem. Report affiliates statistics accurately.

    Hi Pacificsun1,

    Thanks for your detailed reply.

As I explained before, if ~ 234 of your visitors clicked on the ‘Click here to Download’ button for All Jackpots on your website, this does not equate to 234 downloads. Players need to ‘Run’ or ‘Save’ the file in order to activate a download.

Also, I checked the content on your website. Please explain this strategy and the wrong use of our client casino’s logo: http://www.gamblenow.com/i/head2.gif

Under your support link, please explain who is ‘PlayUnited management group’:

‘To ensure that each and every one of our players has the most positive experience when playing at our Casino, we have contracted the services of PlayUnited management group. PlayUnited’s highly skilled team of service representatives respond quickly and efficiently to provide you with the best customer care in the industry.’

I understand that you have created a brand ‘USA Jackpot Casino’ that uses All Jackpots software…

Under Fair gaming you state… ‘The USA Jackpot Casino software platform and systems have also been tested and approved after by RTG (Real Time Gaming)’ ? Our client, All Jackpots Casino uses Micrograming Viper software.

On your promotions page you have this image:
    http://www.gamblenow.com/as_bigpromo_signup06.gif
which is wrong. The correct sign up offer for All Jackpots is: buy $25, get $75 or buy $50, get $200 – http://www.alljackpots.com/themes/alljackpots/images/ajemail_offer01.gif

On your download page you have: ‘DOWNLOAD USA Jackpot
All Jackpots Casino’ and a link to the All Jackpots Casino download…

This is highly irregular and certainly not encouraged.

If you would like to use an affiliate marketing strategy of creating your own brand, please ensure that you comply with the following:

    1. Please don’t impersonate any of our cleint casino brands, or any other casino for that matter.
    2. Please make it clear that your brand is ‘powered by’ or ‘played on’ All Jackpots Casino.

Professor, I’ll call you – thanks.

I suggested that we continue this by email.

    Best regards,
    Lloyd

While this may not have much to do with this individual issue (or again, it may) I would like to recommend to people that they not use direct download links unless they are on a page clearly marked as an instant download page.

These downloads, in my experience and from the player feedback I receive, cause a lot of people to be startled and panic thinking something is invading their computer. I have heard of all kinds of ways to abort such downloads because people don’t want to get a virus or spyware. The most popular is pulling the plug on their computer, possibly resulting in further issues. swoon1.gif

You can bet this visitor will not be back. So be very, very careful how you present direct downloads. Make sure everyone is totally prepared for what happens when they click and the download starts on the spot.

Of course, promoting one software while the download brings another doesn’t help.

In this situation the player had spent 20 minutes learning this betting strategy. There was no deception directed to the player. It was “Download and Test the Strategy Now” The player knew exactly that he was downloading the software…he had studied the betting strategy for 20 minutes…he wanted to play. This was not random internet traffic.

He (Brightshare) is reporting incorrect statistics. No question about it. I’ve received e-mail from players who commented on the strategy after depositing. No rock to hide under. He (Brightshare) is already making excuses of software glitches…but he’s not telling the whole CAP community…just me. Check your stats….buzz him on it…he’ll admit. He has an obligation to report statistics correctly.

    Hi all,

now wait a minute. I’ll give you that this person may not have met the required so and so’s but that doesn’t change the fact that it is stated that players have emailed stating they had deposited and played; yet only one is showing up in the stats.

Am I the only one that would appreciate further investigation into at least finding out if the truth is being told, before simply dismissing this because certain requirements were not met.

if the truth is being told; and I have no reason to think otherwise; and I’d think that by simple virtue that Lloyd has told him not to do it again, but not said it was so terrible he was kicked out of the program (and rightfully so; as i can see mistakes but nothing with real malice intended) … then the matter remains unanswered in my eyes.

If nothing else I can promise I will send a tester or two thru to test the download codes in the coming week and I encourage others who take their business seriously enough to also test; to please report back their findings and lets see what’s what.

Lloyd as you know I have not been happy with my bottom line for months and perhaps this is part of the problem.

I know something has to be done soon for me to keep your properties up because this bundling thing alone is the straw that’s breaking the camel’s back and its going to take some serious comeback or a change in policy to justify my keeping your properties up.

Re. sending testers: MG is screwing up the downloads in at least some programs again, fortune and referback included. I am getting really ticked off with MG. :banger:

Re. the bundling: it’s testing my patience also.

    Lloyd,

Please comment about download issues with MG relating to Brightshare. I have had none this month which is quite odd as well since I have plenty of download clicks listed on my phpAdsNew server.

And, please comment on the downloads as relates to Pacificsun1 and bbwebs also because maybe this is inter-related? Maybe it’s not. But I would seriously like to know where the downloads are going. On ALL my MG links because I am down to about 15% norm across all properties.

I don’t want to start anything I have enough to deal with already. I promote Brightshare they offer a great group of casinos.

I do not promote them they I would like due to spammy statistics. I check my stats once a week for amusement. Lloyd and I have spoken quite some time ago about this ongoing problem. I would like to leave the issue alone.

I will comment on the banner however. Gamblenow if he or she doesn’t know it using a image whether be it jpeg or whatever could be used as a excellent optimization tool. But I agree the Image is not the name of the Casino I think it should say All Jackpots Casino. This is something I would not do, falsey misrepresent the brand name of a Casino.

I mentioned a while back how bots travel the
Lloyd for our partner ship if you are willig to send me exact banners and linking codes straight from you I would be willing to take things a bit further. All I can say is I iniated downloads from 10 different locations only one was tracked. I download 3 times a week the odd one makes it to my stats.

Everyone thus far has made very valid points. But the one thing that irritates me most is the banner image being used and the stats issue. greek39

Listen close now…you keep your phony numbers and your patronizing horseshit to yourself. There’s $1,200 outstanding. You have my Neteller account. Pay your debt, take your players, and go screw somebody else. Nothing less is acceptable…now listen very closely …Nothing.
Thank you for letting me bring that to your attention.

Our policy is to run a strictly honest operation and that includes myself, my managers, my CEO, my whole company and all the affiliates that we deal with and also sometimes those that we don’t deal with. In the past we have been upfront in dealing with dishonesty and the reason we are upfront is that we have nothing to hide. Yes, we can make mistakes and so can MG but stealing and being dishonest no matter what the issue is are not on our agenda and never will be.

I would like to address the important issues that have been raised in this thread.

    Downloads

    As it says on Brightshare:

    Download data
Completed downloads only, from the download server are available in your reports 48 hours after successful completion. We are currently working on making this data available on real-time.

The download stats are managed by us and not by MG. The stats are collected in a database from the download servers and then because of the nature of the scripts used the database is queried every 48 hours for affiliate download stats. Since we have moved IP (begining of this month) this query hasn’t been working and the result has been that download stats for this month aren’t up on Brightshare. This means that the downloads stats have all been collected but the query generating the affiliate report is currently not working. I have been in constant contact the last few days with our IT Dep Head who is responsible for the download servers, database and the download report query script. The most recent update that I received this morning is that some of the affiliate download stats are already up and rest will be up by later today. I will keep you all posted and I do understand and apologize for this inconvenience.

    Unsatisfactory Earnings

Since we have started looking at Hitwise stats it has become even clearer to me that the demographics of players that play at various casinos and that visit various affiliate sites are often very different, i.e. our casinos perform fantastically on some affiliates sites and lousy on others and this is perfectly normal. Our main brands allslots.com and alljackpots.com are very slots, vegasy orientated and tend to perform very well on affiliate sites that are likewise. On the other hand, Wild Jack Gaming is a more high techy table games orientated casino and performs best on affiliate sites that speak best to these kind of players. My suggestion: Try and understand the type of player that will want to visit and use your affiliate site(s) and ensure that you promote only those casinos that you believe will best suite your visitors.

The other issue is the use of banners and content. Very often the right or wrong use of banners, content and placement can make a significant difference and then, of course, there is always an element of luck ;)

    Bundling Earnings

Yes, Jackpot Factory casinos aggregate all affiliate casino earnings on all their casino brands, with the exception of poker which is calculated separately. This has always been their policy and if this concerns you I would suggest picking out what you feel is our best casino brand for you and working exclusively with them. Furthermore, we don’t carry forward negative earnings but we do carry forward negative balances resulting from chargebacks. When chargebacks are recovered in later months affiliates are credited accordingly.

    MG Stats Issues

Yes, MG have had a whole bunch of stats issues in the last year, like the banner tag problem and now there is a new one… All winnings from the gambling feature of all bonus slots haven’t been recorded on the PTS (Casper) in the last two or three years if the players that won didn’t click on the ‘collect’ or ‘double up’ button but instead just closed the screen. This was discovered only recently by MG and we are waiting for a detailed player list from them and an update to the PTS. In MG’s defence and for those of you who know MG and their management I can say that they are as straight as they come but yes, they have issues sometimes and it can be very annoying but they are always upfront and fair and correct problems no matter what the consequences are.

Please let me know if you have any comments/concerns/issues.

    Thank you!

    Best regards,
    Lloyd
