What I am noticing is major delays (10,15,20 seconds) between each forum page, which is being caused by waiting for loading images (according to the info bar in my browser). Have you changed the ways you cache the images?
I’ve been having this issue in IE and on Saturday and today, my browser crashed. Couldn’t access the site, although I am using Chrome to access and write this post. It appears to be happening during the load of adverts from an adserver – that may be a red herring but both times that was showing as loading when IE crashed. It does something weird because then it ties up my PC for about 20 mins and can’t do anything until the threads die (Win XP).

Make the font any larger and you may as well change the name to: Casino Affiliate Pensioners Program (CAPP)

Hodgeyboy is nearing his 50’s so he needs the larger font to help him out…shame on the old boy!
Changes so far are sweet and much easier to read, I think.
Good work all!

Agreed – there appear to be a few domains slow to display images.
http://img.cdn.adjuggler.com (large ads at the top)
http://www.getsmiles.com (emiticons I think)Basically it means displaying a new page can take anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds to display depending on what is displayed … meaning I avoid reading a thread unless I’m sure I can be bothered waiting for it.
IE browser, Windows Vista.
I also notice two things :
1) Firefox is quicker.
2) when the ad is sourced from rotator.adjuggler.com then it’s much quicker.September 8, 2008 at 1:03 pm #778084

InactiveIE7 – no loading probs, no crashing.
The print as you enter a message is too small, smaller than the site.
The “thanks” don’t work correctly – still getting an error page when clicked.
The font looks a lot better but the white is still too bright.

EvelinessaMemberIt appears that the crashing problem is limited to IE6. looking into it now….

EvelinessaMemberThere shouldn’t be any more problems with IE 6 crashing when visiting the forums, and we are also making a few minor tweaks to make site more visually pleasing.
