Thanks Martyn. We will be making the forum text darker soon…you are all right it is hard to read, especially when there is alot of text.
WAY WAY WAY TOOOOO BRIGHT!
I can’t stand the bright white. I won’t be looking around the forum as much anymore – cause I will be blind if I do.
Liked the old colours.

very ugly…Honestly – I don’t care about about the colours – as long as we keep getting the grewat content. The white is probably just a little bright, try #eeeeee or something close to (but not quite) white and it’ll look good.
What I am noticing is major delays (10,15,20 seconds) between each forum page, which is being caused by waiting for loading images (according to the info bar in my browser). Have you changed the ways you cache the images?
Causing my computer to freeze about 30 seconds between each page.
I think it looks good and I don’t have troubles reading but the old look was definitely better – almost perfect.
When entering the forum my Windows 7 browser freezes completely. I have to use the windows task manager to close the browser down. :Cry:

It now works in Window browser but with long delays between pages
Unlike a lot of the “Old Farts” on this forum I like the look of the new site and I like the colours of the new forum. However I feel that if you changed the blue font to black it would be really great. Currently it’s like the glare off an iceberg.

It’s improved some, but my eyes still have a glare poblem. Also, the print when you are writing a message is too small. Once posted, the size is ok. When I read, then type a message and go on reading, I have tears in my eyes!

I have three words to say about the new site.

Awesome!
The speed has improved dramatically – that’s a huge plus. Site is clean and easy… the only complaint (if one can call it that) is that the text size is a bit on the small side. All you’re missing now is a javascript font-size picker… and better contrast, it’s a bit too bright for me too.
Congrats on your hard work and new design!
No offense to anyone, but the old forum looked the best. This is blinding me!
I want to thank everyone again for all of the feedback that we have received. We love to hear the good and bad to improve the community.
I’ve changed the font colors so hopefully that will make posts easier to read. Does this seem better for you guys?
We are also going to take care of the issue brought up of the forums being overwhelmingly white…the last thing we want to do is ruin people’s eyesight! :3eyes:

I’m pretty impressed with the new design. I wear glasses anyway so the font size etc doesn’t bother me..
I’m not too fussed on the white.. As long as the site loads fast and everything else works fine it’s great.
