InactiveHey mate
Can I suggest to actually contact the programs involved here as your first step? I only just saw this today and would have been on it sooner if I had known about it and I’m sure once the other programs know they will get on it too. If you can’t contact people personally, perhaps you could post in their individual forums to check out this post or something.. I know I don’t check every single thread that’s posted, I just don’t have time. And I’m sure the other guys are the same.. So if you can put it right in front of their nose, you may get a better response.
Either way the guy hasn’t made any money with us this month – so not sure how long he has had your links changed over, but I’ve closed his account anyway.
Cheers

ClubContMemberwell when he does a changeover we’ll know who the person is so maybe they didn’t think this through properly and hopefully no rogues take him on as sponsors. I can lock/ban the account or switch their payment option to yours. I am surprised your host hasn’t done a better job of getting involved and undoing what has happened. Which host was it? Tell them if they don’t sort this faster than they can expect people to know their host isn’t as safe and cooperative.

biggygMemberIt would be nice to see ALL programs post here that they will pay allfreechips the earnings on these tags. You all know it was his site and the circumstances ,I hate to say it but i doubt he will get the domains back if neither registry has replied on the matter.I had a domain stolen last year that was RESOLD ,it cost me $2000 in legal fees then it was only because the new buyer had some morals he charged back some money on a credit card and I paid him the rest of his cost.It cost me $32,000 to buy my own website back but it was worth it.In my case a third party was holding my domains and that piece of crap stole it from me .I learned my lesson on that too.
To allfreechips ,if you are just emailing the registries and expecting them to get your domain back ,it wont work .You need a lawyer to send BOTH a letter and maybe they will lock it and return to you.December 2, 2008 at 11:55 pm #789050Anonymous
InactiveI agree nothing will happen if you phone or email. Registrars dont care, they rather not be bothered because as they view it they made 8 bucks off you so its not worth their time. Get a court order as soon as you can.

InactiveThe court order i was told to get looks to cost about 50,000!
Aff managers must KEEP blocking this joker, he is getting pressed now and contacting the programs!
Not only is he lieing he bought the domains from China now, he is using my real name as a MSN chat name to talk to them. If he was legit he would not be doing that. I am real close to getting a one way ticket to Viet Nam to take care of this myself then fly back when im happy.

biggygMemberI still think you should just have google ban the domain and start fresh .There are few affiliate programs that will probably not pay you or the guy who has your domain. You will get your serps back on a new domain with this old content if you ask google to remove the stolen domains from index.Just my two cents ,pay a lawyer to write the letters and usually the registrars will reply to a lawyer.
