LucretiaMemberI think so too – faking everything is ok when it is not – is bad business.
If a casino(s) is bankrupt, Microgaming or any other 3rd party who has the authority, should force them to discontinue the online status and payout all players first and affiliates later.
The CPS management is clearly not – feeling responsible – in the mood -posting news to their valued affiliates by email what has happened. First you get a the ecogra seal issue which was just a late payment of the fee. Now we know all it is not. Second some casinos carry the seal anyway though.
Although I respected their casinos in the past, my opinion has changed to call it a retarded program which is in desperate need of a makeover and a better shopkeeper.
I hope the casinos get a better management in the future, but for now they are not worth anything to me anymore. I try to keep players away before they get hurt.

InactiveGuys, it is not possible to deposit or play in these casinos, these functions are disabled.
The only thing you can do there is withdraw.
IMO that’s good and fine, and the downloads too as conceivably there may be players using a different computer at the time who have money at a casino but do not have the casino on their computer. People need to be able to withdraw their funds.
So I think that stuff is as should be. I would like to see a notice though.
I assume the reason there is no notice is because there are several acquisition offers on the table and things may change.

Ah Ok I didn’t complete the download. Agreed there should be a notice though. Seems like acquisition will be quicker than thought so let’s see what happens…

Inactivei received the following email on 1st of march regarding CPS properties:
Don’t loose out when Tusk gone Bust!

Hi,I am Henrik Granlund, the Affiliate Director for Betway.com.
I know this may be a stressful time when you just recently have lost all your players that you have worked hard to direct to the bankruptcy of Tusk Investment Corporation, with the brands such as Golden Reef Casino, UK Casino Club, Big Casino and Challenge Casino to mention a few.
But now thanks to Betway.com you can easily compensate for this by promoting us instead of those companies on your site xxxxwww.jackpotfinder.com.
We will give you a 40% revenue share on all of our 4 products, Casino, Poker, Games and Sport Book if you sign up to xxxxwww.betwaypartners.com.
We also have a special promotion for the affected players of the above mentioned Casinos and other affected Casinos within the group. This will help you to quickly gain new players that used to play on those casinos and start making money again.
This is the promotion we offer for the affected players:
“Dear customers of Challenge Casino, Golden Reef, UK Casino Club, and iBig casinos, due to the recent situation at your casino we are offering you the following.
* We will refund any customer balance you have at any of the above casinos up to $200 in bonus cash. Please register with xxxxwww.betway.com and send us your Betway username, old username for the affected Casino and account balance to [email protected].
* If you have a zero account balance we will give you a massive 300% deposit bonus up to $300 (a $100 deposit gives you a total balance of $400), if you email [email protected] with the reference code “Gone Bust”This offer is valid until further notice; however Betway.com reserves the right to close it at any time.
This offer is not valid for players in the USA or jurisdictions where Betway don’t accept players.
Betway.com uses Microgaming software and is one of the largest Sports book, Casino and Poker room in the world.
Regards,
Betway.com”Kind regards,
Henrik Granlund
Affiliate Directornot exactly sure what to make of it, but looks like the player database has been “rented” out…

InactiveI heard some other people received the same email. Pretty strange :sarcasm:

vladcizsolMemberGuys anyone whos been an affiliate for any length of time probably worked with CPS. Other programs are well aware of whats going on and its not surprising that they are going to lobby for the placement you previously gave to CPS.
This email thats going around is trying to captilize on the situation but its far from proof that the CPS database has been rented or sold.

InactiveI got it too.
I doubt it’s the CPS database.
Just someone jumping on an opportunity.

InactiveHas anybody actually received an email from CPS confirming the liquidation, because I have received zip? Shame about CPS I always liked that programme, what is happening with the online casinos they promoted, who is going to take them over and promote them, or are they all down the toilet as well?
March 10, 2008 at 1:53 pm #762923
vladcizsolMemberIt’s been confirmed by Microgaming and the now extinct operator.
March 10, 2008 at 10:29 pm #762973Anonymous
InactiveNow this sucks
I am glad however I got all the money due to me from them last month! lol… I was putting that off for like 5 months though.. whew!So anyway, anyone know a good group that takes us players now?
March 10, 2008 at 11:14 pm #762979
CaptainetteMemberThere are many players and also some affiliates who are not aware of online communities, such as CAP. Without the information from these third-party websites, none of us would know what is happening at Casino Action and it is a SHAME that Microgaming, nor Ecogra, nor Casino Action themselves never released an official statement about this to affiliates and players still!
This story is VERY bad for all companies involved and each one of them have already lost credibility in my book. Days have already passed by since the Casinos went off-line and nobody cares to properly inform the victims.March 10, 2008 at 11:31 pm #762984
vladcizsolMemberTribun Microgaming issued a press release and company statement on February 27th:

Ecogra issued this statement and suspension notice on February 25th

InactiveSince nobody from CPS or MGS will contact us directly explaining the situation, I guess we have to find information ourselves. Here`s a recent update:
