I wonder if there is a ex playtech guy around that can shed some light on the subject.
especially in regard to who is in charge of the players, playtech, the casino or the affiliate company.
Just frustrating when you build your company up to a nice income and overnight it is gone.I am 7 years in this biz, and I can say, you never can count on stable income and must be ready for anything

Smart Live AffiliatesMemberI dont bad mouth them that is the last thing i want to do
like i said they have paid me well and i have very good relations with them.
I just wanted to know if all markets are down, but obviously it is just mine.
I will have to investigate, but it is a very tricky situation.October 31, 2008 at 11:31 am #784945

meemeeMemberJesus! There seem to be some serious trust issues out there, perhaps you should re-evaluate who you work with?
I know you need conversions for your bottom line but there are plenty of programs out there that you can trust.

As they say: there is only one person you can trust – yourself, and only once a year

and: trust but check :p

InactiveThere is a world financial crisis, people are getting letters from credit card companies lowering their credit limits.
That’s certainly affect the amount of play from existing players
if your player base that earned 40,000 was mainly 1 or 2 players, it’s certainly possible they aren’t playing now. Whales do run out of money, move to another casino and sometimes take long breaks.

InactiveFrom Stats Remote: the average player value ($$$/sale) at playtech casinos is only 25% !!! from my global player value.

Which programs are these? I have programs that I’ve been recieving commission for almost 5 years on from 1 player account (vegas affs, referback, gamblingwages etc)
Are you sure these players don’t just leave after 3 months?October 31, 2008 at 10:56 pm #785024Anonymous

All stats (MG, Playtech, RTG ect.,) are easy to manipulate via Admin panel and by other tricks
So, if manager decided to shave you, they will do it, and you will never know the real reason. We must start this tests ASAP!errrr…. disagree with this. Having having had experience of both Playtech and MG I think I can comment on this.
Playtech – as an affiliate manager for a playtech brand it was very easy…FAR TOO EASY to alter tags on player accounts. But being a responsible, trustworthy and professional affiliate manager this was never abused.
Microgaming – Two things with MG. Firstly there is no way for me as an affiliate manager to alter affiliate tags to shave your stats. Secondly, not even MG will alter tags for us in order to remove or add affiliate tags. This was discovered during our beta testing for my current casino where tracking was being tested.
The above was based upon my personal opinions and experiences with the brands in question. You decide. :wink-wink

InactiveShaving of players, deposits, or adding extra numbers as players (to keep affiliate interested and keep them sending traffic) to affiliate accounts is possible on all software. To say that it is impossible to do on a particular software is absurd. Accessibility to the functions to do it may differ on different programs and software though.
It doesn’t come down to the software, but the integrity of the operator. Why people continue to work with operators who have a proven track record of being dishonest continues to amaze me, you are asking to be burnt.
I am sure most us can name at least 1 or 2 casino for each of the below software who has shaved/altered their stats.
MGS
Playtech

Hmmm.. but I have had player accounts added to my affiliate account who weren’t originally there. Or maybe it was just 2nd tier sub affiliates. I’ve also had them alter my own player account on occasion when I accidentally ended up on my own tag and needed that removed.
