GuestOh and by the way:
I don’t so much say this towards programs I’ve a long standing relationship with ….. as that I have entered into many partnerships recently with many people here at CAP/GPWA.
I will start the first of the month making this offer on many sites.
you screw with my friends…. you screw with me ….. and I won’t be easy about my reproach.
again …..my long standing friendly programs …. have little to worry……. but those that think that they’ll get away with fire…. will find in the long run that i have burned their asses to toast. think about it.
treat us right!

Inactivecool idea, so you offer them 300 out of your pocket?
they could forge the documents they send… using photoshop. keep that in mind

InactiveThat is a GREAT idea, bb1webs!!!! I have noticed a lot of sketchy crap going on lately with stats also. I think we should all do something like this – if you are open to others using that same methodology?
It would be like a mass audit…. and a mass outing for rogue programs. I like it!

GuestI agree…… its a risk. but I have found that most players are honest. they will provide accurate docs.
its worth the risk of loss.

Inactivehahaha – It’s a damn good plan
Makes good sense to me and I would love to see a bunch of affiliates doing this. Keep these programs honest.August 24, 2007 at 11:37 am #746590
sipherMemberWhat poker room do you want the player to sign up at?

Guestsorry B:
I don’t really aggressively promote poker because I can’t find a program that meets all the needs of
1. enough players
2. no predatory terms
3. has proven to have satisfactory tracking.appreciate the support though.

Guestbtw: how this is done:
you tell players that first of all…. portal owners NEVER cost players anything extra.
that in fact … your their best chance of getting paid because you represent so many more players than any one player could.
that they should email you (you get their addy on top of all else) when they sign up and ask for copies of deposits into the casino and then you can always check with the casino if you doubt the player.
the bigger the deposit … the less likely they are trying to get over on you.
this adds credibility to your site .. and protects you from cheating programs because trust me ….. i’ve run many similiar offers over the past 7 yrs ….. its pays quickly to get rid of cheats.
hope that helps.

InactiveGood idea, bb1!

GuestOh I should have added….. i’ve partnered with several different affs in recent past.
so these won’t just be on my sites.
treat us right! you’ll make more money!

InactiveTesting is always a good idea.
I (or had someone else) test the programs I promote with real money deposits starting from the stats recording everthing they should to a seamless installation, that is until the ewallets pulled out.
However, as I understand it some programs credit the first affiliate with the player and not the last so it really depends on how the program writes the cookie.
Although I’m skeptical of some programs I’m more skeptical of a program not crediting a sub-affiliate signup. I’d be interested in hearing anybody’s thoughts on this.
There are just so many steps in the chain. The whole process has to work flawlessly and be accurate, starting from what the affiliate is offering to the casino landing page, download, registration and deposit.

Guestgood point Slots.
ya … I stand to lose a bit for reasons you and others stated. but I also figure i know about everybody. I can follow up thru these friendships and even if I end up paying a bounty to save someone else….. it also saves me in the end.
there’s little chance of hiding aff managers. treat us right!
this is of course aimed at programs that I am not used to working with.
I think most programs .. which are very, very few … that I have worked with for years … have much to worry about.
but i again say ….. you screw with me or my partners … I will go to extremes to make your cheating efforts known and in the end it will cost you much, much more than you’d gain by cheating us.
oh ya, ….. again I’d like to add to any aff that thinks this is a bad investment.. how wrong your are.
no offense….but you’ll make up the $300 so very quickly promoting programs that are honest.
can’t say it plainer than that.

PatrickMMemberThis is an interesting idea in theory but there are WAY too many uncertainties out there on the internet that just won’t register a player to your affiliate account.
I applaud this idea. My only question is how can they prove without any doubt that they came through your website and ONLY your website and what if they cleared their cookies and wanted to eliminate your affiliate ID etc?
Lots of variables… I’d like to open this up to the public and get a good structure in place and help you work it out.
