    Hi,

I’d like to find out why there are recent payment problems for me. Until the “new payment solution” was implemented, payments were on time. Very reliable.

Last month and this month, I’m having serious problems getting paid.

Why is this the case, when the new system was supposed to expedite everything.

    Thanks
    Elizabeth

    Hi guys,

Please be in touch with Liyu directly at liyul@brightshare.com regarding all payments questions.

She’s handling payments and can give you all the scoop on payments in general, yours specifically, or “what ever you ever wanted to know about payments, but were afraid to ask.”

Liyu will also soon be on CAP, so she’ll be able to respond here, but in the meantime, email is the best.

    Thanks – Marcia

I had problems in recent months too, but I was eventually paid.

I still haven’t received this month’s payment, though, which has me worried that I have another month of payment-chasing ahead of me. I hope this isn’t the case….

I sent an email to Liyu a few minutes ago.

I received payment via moneybookers today :hattip: With this wallet everything seems to be working smoothly so maybe the culprit lies with the cheques and wires.

I have still not had my issues resolved and not only am I very angry, but no one has even explained why this happened.

I feel as though I am getting “a pat on the head”, but matters have progressed to an untenable situation. I have made contact in a reasonable manner, and had been assured that payment would be made Thursday, but so far no response.

Considering what has happened I have been very patient, but patience only goes so far.

This needs to be addressed immediately. Otherwise I wil be forced to post the exact nature of my complaint.

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one wondering where my pay is from July and wondering what the heck is going on and when I will get paid.

Good to know I’m not alone, too. Hopefully we’ll all get paid soon.

I’d like to know why some affs are getting paid without any problem, while some (well — quite a few, it seems) are having to wait for the “make-up payments” at the end of the month?

    Hi everyone,

This is Liyu from BrightShare – new Support and Site Manager – among lots of other stuff, I’m taking over the payments to affiliates. Right now there are a few bugs in the payments system which we are working on – some of the issues are quite complicated, but we’re getting it all sorted out, and hope that soon we’ll have the payments going through more smoothly!

To clear all this up, I will need your help to make sure that the payment info we have for you in our system is all correct, please just double-check by going to our site and update your details if necessary:
    http://www.brightshare.com => login => Account Details => Payment

Please keep in mind the following:

    1. When choosing “MoneyBookers”, put your relevant Email Addresss in the “Account Number” field. I know … it’s a bug in the system – we’re working on it.

    2. If you are a resident in the US or Canada, please do not choose PayPal, Neteller or EcoCard.

    3. If you choose to be paid by Check, make sure to have the name of the payee typed in; if the payee’s name is different than your name, and you are not able to put the correct details in, please contact me at liyul@brightshare.com

    4. For security reasons, we prefer not to send a check over $1000 to residents of the US. Make sure you choose a different payment method, by updating your info on BrightShare.

Any questions, comments, you are most welcome to contact me either

    by email: liyul@brightshare.com
    or by MSN: liyul@spiralsolutions.com

    August payments

The majority of the payments were successfully made on September 15th – most of our affiliates did get their payment around that date.

There are a number of affiliates whose payment has not gone through – each one for a different reason. We will process these manually as soon as our accounting manager returns from abroad. We apologize for the delay.

Finally, I am quite happy to have joined the BrightShare team. Although the work load is heavy, it’s exciting! I doubt if I’ll have time to visit the forum often, but for anything – anytime – please feel free to contact me, I will do my best to assist you!

    Regards,
    Liyu

Payment will not be coming anytime soon!!

I am told that the Acct Mgr was too busy on Sunday to get payments ready!!

I am also told that today (MONDAY) AND tomorrow (TUESDAY) are Jewish holidays, so that nothing wil be done then either!!

Now Wednesday, is Oct 1 so another month’s payment will then be due as well.

I want to explain for clarity, that my JULY PAYMENT was sent to me via check, which BOUNCED!! I have been trying to get paid for this ever since then, but the powers that be at Brightshare don’t seem to be in any hurry to make good on this.

I have been told story after story after story about my payment was coming etc., but when the time comes, another story.

I don’t know what is going on there, but nothing good, I can tell you.

In my woeld, sending someone a bounced check is a very serious matter. But at Brightshare, it does not seem to be an issue of particular interest to the Acct Mgr, or whoever makes these decisions.

Apparently, getting affiliates paid is not a priority issue either.

Neither is coming clean on what is going on, either!!

I am sorely fed up with the outright lies, and delays, and prevarications.

I’m wondering why they are all so orthodox about these Jewish customs. Most of the people who work at BS are not even Jews as far as I’m aware and how orthodox can you be if you run a casino program anyway.

I have no issue with holidays and observances. I did look up this one up and found this:

    Rosh Hashanah –
No work is permitted. Sunset of September 29 through nightfall of October 1

Which means that Monday was a workday, so I was lied to again!! There was no reason for payments not to be processed on Monday!!

Oh, and for those looking for payments on Oct 15:

    Sukkot –
No work permitted on Oct. 14-15. Work is permitted on Oct. 16-17-19-20 with certain restrictions. Sunset of October 13 through sunset of October 20

Oct 14-15 are Tue and Wed. Thursday is a workday, but not Friday. Look for more crap about payments.

I am not going to get upset for them taking few extra days for their holidays ,at our xmas time we do take extra days.I will give them crap for not doing payments BEFORE Barcelona ,that conference was booked months ago and it seems every time a conference happens payments are last thing on some programs minds.I had a big winner in august so no payment due but this is last program i would think of for bouncing payments or late payments. What is worst is no word from them but they did have time to post on the domain change issue .BS is starting to stand for something other than Brightshare in my books.

Sad that I have to explain myself as a Jew but here goes:
Monday was what is called an Erev Hag. All Jewish holidays start at sunset and in Israel it is customary to not work Erev Hag. So, on the 20th we were all on vacation.

What I LOVE about Israel is that you don’t have to be religious to be Jewish. We had an awesome time hiking yesterday with three other families and are not required to spend the two days in a Beit Knesset or at work.

    Now onto payments:
We are paying affiliates through our new affiliate system for the last few months, which is basically a dedicated casino for affiliates that allows us to cash out all affiliate payments in one go. Unfortunately, certain payments didn’t go through for various reasons, most of them technical, (but the majority did go through on time) and we have been fighting with our Finance department to get these outstanding payments made without delay. I do apologize about this and promise that it isn’t something we are excited about either.

If you are in the US it is risky paying you by check and if the check isn’t cashed it needs to be returned because it is the equivalent of cash, i.e. it’s a bank check, i.e. cash. Until the check is returned we can’t issue a second payment.

I will not apologize for having more Jewish holidays around our next payment but we will do everything we can to ensure payments are not delayed.

In closing I’d like to add that we always give the highest respect to our affiliates and we expect no less than that in return. Unless you think things work differently… if so, please explain yourself.

Please post or email me lloyda@brightshare.com if you have any questions.
