InactiveI have seen the site advertised on several of the bigger poker portals, but have yet to check it out myself.
Ive heard lots of rumors that it was a Dutch Boyd project – but its been denied by zero rake –
…
some quick research shows that rakefree.com under development appears to be the next pokerspot (boyds failed first attempt)
As for zero rake I still dont know much about it. It aims to be an online meeting place for weekly home games – I dont know.
It seems they charge a membership to qualify for the zerorake so in a sense you are getting raked – I guess it would be best for players that play a lot of poker.

InactiveFor what it’s worth, I’ve emailed their support team twice now asking whether or not they have an affiliate program. No response to the first email (about a month ago), and no response yet on today’s email (this morning).

InactiveTheir business model is to charge players 30 dollars per month and in exchange, the players do not have to pay any “rake.” What they forgot to realize is that most players do not know what a rake is. They also do not realize that most people budget themselves to 100 or 200 dollars per month to play poker. If they have to pay 30 dollars upfront, that is 15% to 30% of their bankroll going down the drain before they even play one hand.
I downloaded the zerorake client to see how much traffic they currently have. They have about 9 real players and 30 play money players. At this point, it is not even worth considering promoting the site as an affiliate. Also, I am assuming that they would only offer you a CPA type of deal and that won’t be much.

InactiveRandy, that CPA is an ok deal, but I dealt with them a few years back when they were just Guts Poker and never got paid.

Inactive$50 CPA is too low. I like the concept, but it would lend itself more toward a rev share opportunity. (Bigger players being the ones most affected by the rake.)

InactiveTrue- it’s low, that’s why I said it was an OK deal. They really should give you a choice CPA or REV share…..I always pick the rev no matter where, lol.
Edited to add:
I also wanted to congratulate you an the new moderator gig
