for my non gambling sites I do sometimes some heavy email marketing .I use 1 of my servers and also an emailer .

for my Gambling sites I use the hosting account and WP .

never had a problem with either.

I think many use aweber due to the stats it will give you !

I use YMLP. They’re fine with gambling content and their fees are reasonable:

If it’s cool for me to post, this is my sub-aff link.
    Email Marketing Software – YMLP

I moved to YMLP after much searching for a decent distributor, after dumping Topica due to price increases.

I have no problem using your aff link, this actually looks really good and inexpensive! Thanks Fiction

No problem. If you do sign up, use voucher ‘PC1QZA’ to get a 15% discount. I just spotted it in my backend.

We use Aweber. Lots of tools for putting together nice looking emails. Lots of segmenting capability. Lots of stats.

The only knock is that sometimes they can have difficulty sending the confirmation opt in email to yahoo, hotmail, gmail. Not all the time, and I am sure that other email marketing companies have the same problem at times.

I wrote up “if you don’t get the confirmation, please follow these steps” instructions on my site. Happy to show you what I did if you want to see.

Bottom line, I am happy enough with Aweber that I am not currently shopping for a new email marketing solution, but I do have that nagging feeling of “wonder how many leads I’m losing because they never are able to opt in…”

Who uses email marketing companies like Aweber and which ones do you like? Or do you have your own custom script and server? I really would like a very lightweight (fast loading) solution for wordpress (with plugin) and the above company is all I could find. I really do not want to pay that much, and I also would have to test the plugin and find out it adds a .5 sec to load times. Anyone have experience or opinions regarding this for your friend muffincrumbs?

Wow, I may take you up on that. Thanks Keith, not gonna lie, I know your site and I get your emails, they are the best around if you are who I think you are ;) I went with Aweber and so far I am happy with it. Everything takes so much time to get set up right, I really love working with online casinos, but the amount of stuff to do is almost endless. One day I intend (when I am bedridden and senile probably) to write a book about our business! I will include an aff link on the free bookmark included with every purchase! =D

I’d recommend taking a look at MailChimp. So far, I’ve had no trouble at all with them. Granted, you’ll get a few emails that will be blocked due to spam filters, but with their diagnose doctor, it takes the hassle out of figuring out why it has been blocked.

Unfortunately they will eventually close your account, and all your data with it, as mailchimp does not allow affiliate marketing and/or gambling/casino promotion.

Oh really? I didn’t know that. I’ve only used it for non-gaming clients and found it good.

Thanks for the heads up! i was going to use it for my sites. Not any more! Lol.

Yeah, Mailchimp flat turned me down when I told them it was gambling affiliate based.
