meemeeMemberNot got a huge experience with them and agree they look pretty nifty. The campaign’s I have run with them i can’t say there was much of a difference either way in terms of conversions.
Live odds banners still convert the best for me, shame i can’t run them through our aff program at the moment :madat:

coolcasinoMemberWe did try them and as far I remember conversion was not that good as expected, around 0.25% CTR
I think it converts only if you use specific graphics and take your time to run couple of test.
I like the concept and we will probabely give it a new try in the future.December 12, 2008 at 8:00 am #789955Anonymous
InactiveI have tried a few and seen them on many sites. Notice how animated banners freeze after you pull the corner…..
So i dumped the script and have not seen one that does not freeze gif banners…

ClubContMemberI think they can be hit or miss but eventually they fall under the “banner blindness” category. I saw some company that does banner ads over videos and they said over a year ago that they have 1 to 2 years before people stop caring about how neat they are. I think page peels are probably at that stage. It would be nice to know how many people actually take a peek at the peel and then decide not to click.
