InactiveThat would be us. And I understand your point bbs1. However, the goal for PlayersJet from the outset is to provide a place where players can go to find information on any online casino on the web, good or bad, removing our opinions from the equation. Our strategy is to be a unique and reputable source of information on online casinos, and our approach is to rank and review every casino, regardless of if they have an affiliate program.
So far we have over 800 listed (99% have affiliate programs), and are probably affiliates of about 30% of them. We have another 1200 or so sites that don’t have affiliate programs that will eventually be loaded into our database, but there are other business-critical issues to deal with first. Traffic being one of them, and we needed a starting place.
For better or worse, we expect this stategy to pay off for us in the long run.

GuestChris trust me on this, I’ve been doing this for over 5 years now. And don’t just take my word for it, look at what others have said as well. They thought it was so far out in left field that they obviously thought it a redundant subject.
Believe me when I say that you are not the first to think of going the route you spoke of; and ask anybody else here, as soon as we got some experience under our belts …. down came any free links.
I can’t make it any clearer than that; but it is a serious mistake to list a casino you’re not affiliated with; and keep in mind i have no ulterior motive other than I’m trying to keep you from making what could turn out to be a very, very expensive mistake.

InactiveI can see the value in offering a complete listing – I used to aspire to do the same, and I also listed everything, including programs that would not pay.
Over the years the number of my listings has been shrinking and shrinking and shrinking… I got tired of sending traffic into space.
I work hard to attract this traffic and I am not giving it away for free anymore. I still carry a lot of programs that are not paying off well – but partially that is precisely because I carry too many of them still, the competition is too big.
I still believe offering a lot of casinos is good for me – spreads out the risk and also pleases my repeat traffic. But I have started more and more pages that only highlight a few programs.
If you can make it work for you, if you can get big enough to be able to absorb the loss of traffic to non paying places, more power to you! It is an ideal idea. But – I could not make it work and have shifted focus a lot over the years.
