InactiveLike the great goldrush … domain names are a faded glory.
That’s not to say that big sales don’t still occur (just like weekend prospectors that sometimes stub their toe on a nugget) but it is just no longer the easy way to riches.
sigh.gifTell me – how did you come to this realisation so quickly though?

What realization, that Mir is a total flake, or that the Domain trade is a complete waste of time
Everything smells of cheapness, we’re dealing with penny change here, no harm no foul though, i still got the domains and will do up a one page site to get my money back + a bit, but it’s just a pain in the ass that i didn’t really need in my life
I kinda thought it might be a losing proposition, but i figured with my google ads campaign i would be safe from losing any money on it either way
Gooner, you got $ on the Aussies to win the World Cup or what, that was pretty funny yesterday, they are getting by on some serious luck mate

InactiveI completly agree…
No money to be made.. Stay clear!!!
Only huge corporate ops can make any money on domaining.. There is no room at all for the little guy..
So in conclusion stay out of that business!!You might take away my customers

InactiveI agree with all…MIR is a complete d-bag…from OIL PRICE DOMAINS to 3DTV DOMAINS to REAL ESTATE DOMAINS…this is a casino affiliate website…not SEDO.COM…the moderators should send this dink to namepros.com or to the far end of the galaxy!!!
and another thing…I am sick of seeing his 100+ “Crappy Domain Names For Sale List” every other day…

InactiveHmm, looks like mir is on everyone’s s#!tlist!
Mir, stop trying to sell unrelated domains. :banger:
June 13, 2006 at 6:04 pm #695420Anonymous
InactiveYes, I too am sick of seeing mir’s garbage day after day. The domains are all crap anyway — nobody in their right mind would buy 3DTVMall.com or 3DDisplayMarket.com. Pulling random letters and numbers out of one’s ass and attempting to pass them off as “valuable” domains — what a crock.
That being said, here is what I have for sale. Don’t delay; these won’t last long!
3DHDTVStores.com — only $500! Act fast!
Online-casinos-gambling-casinos-free.info — Price slashed to $10,000! Getting a lot of PMs about this one….
eOilandGasPrices.cc — $1 millllllion dollars! Muuaaah ha ha ha! :laugh:June 13, 2006 at 7:57 pm #695429Anonymous
InactiveHey..I am on the MIR bandwagon.
Let it be said I will offer him right now $100 for all his domains…on one condition…he leaves this friggin website and never comes back.
He not only is not involved in this industry (whatsover) but is also a friggin a*hole to anyone who questions him. Did anyone see the thread where he friggin attacked me. Unfortunately when I brought it up to the moderators I got my hand slapped!
FYI…He got banned from DNforums where I am a member. He attacked the moderator at another domain name forum and will be banned shortly.
I’ve given up trying to get him barred as I got my hand slapped for finding out his million dollar domain was valued at afternic for like $400. Yes, I do agree domain names value are in the “eye of the beholder” but lets get back to really here.
He attacks everyone, he wastes everyones time…he needs to be banned! :blahblah: :flush:
As per the domain speculation market….I do agree totally that the domain market is not what it was of years back. There are some folks who still hit home runs. For example yellowpages.ca just bought like 100 .ca domains off of guy here in Canada (email.ca, business.ca) etc. for like $3,000,000. I tried to find the press release online to post for you guys but can’t find it.
If you are only speculating on domains (and non-related domains like MIR does like iraqioil.info, etc.) why is he here?
He is wasting everyones time and then attacking people who question him.
Let’s start a poll…who wants MIR banned!! :highflyer :highflyer

InactiveLOL!!!
I never pay attention to the domain threads because I am not interested. I’ll think them up myself and pay myself whatever I like.

If everyone is so miffed at mir, I will just have to keep an eye and if he bothers anyone I will have to turn him in to the professor as an undesireable poster.
Hasn’t shown his face yet since I issued a warning.

Inactive$1,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars takes it. I will accept no less.

InactiveThe only guy buying Mir’s domain names is his boyfriend Qir
Then they divy up the cash and do it over again
I can assure you, there are no legitimate, real people bidding on domain names, it is a complete ghost town
I’m trying to sell dell.com for $20, nobody is interested, it’s been on the auction for 10 days with a minimum bid of $8…not one offer
i should pull a Mir and click fraud my way to $500 a month behind an anonymous proxy server, just sit there and rage away on the $0.02 per click campaigns
:dajudge:

InactiveBonusgeek…I can only offer you $1 Billion for that domain – no more.
Take it or leave it.I think I sold MIR the bot that is clicking on those poker links producing $500 per month.
Dom…maybe we should leave him around and start poking some fun at him…I can tell you that his reaction would be classic.
