Just let us know when we have to be there Dominique .I thought Jello shots were good until I read that recipe.Kinda reminds me of the year i ate all the fruit out of the punch bowl that was soaked in vodka for two days.I couldnt figure out why i couldnt get my head off the pillow xmas morning when i had nothing to drink hehehe.

I think we should have started a holiday receipe thread .I will definitely try it ,at first i was thinking it was a sugar cone like you get in the icecream shop , glad i checked out that german grocery link before I burned my house down lol.

Well i gotta admit, i was drinking 4-5 litres of egg nog a day over the holidays

first i threw some hennessey in there, but that was a bit rough, then i switched over to Captain Morgans extra dark rum, that was a deadly combo, damn that evil pirate bastard for making such tasty rum, my plan was to drink so much that i would get completely sick of it until next year, but instead i’ve become an egg nog addict, i just cant function without it, did a complete website tanked up on egg nog and rum, but now my nog is gone and i can no longer keep my senses together

so heres my lazy man egg nog recipe…

a dozen eggs
a cup of sugar(crystal brown sugar for a crunchy egg nog)
a litre of milk
a spoon of vanilla
2 spoons of nutmeg(apparently the hardest spice in the world to find)

throw it all in a blender for 2 minutes, bottle and chill, its perfect for the too lazy to whisk guys like me

now you can live like everyday is a holiday

p.s.

i was at the store and this guy grabbed the last carton of egg nog, i was about to attack him

I never drink… I mean really, I drink like once a year… I might have a glass of wine with some pasta.. or a cooler while friends are drinking.. but anyway my dad says I’m a cheap date

So being that I never drink, I suck @ ordering, it’s part of the reason I don’t bother. I dunno what to order. I like Kaluah, because my mom used to make it, and it’s yummy, so if I order a drink, it’s likely Kaluah and cream…

Anyway.. We decided it was definately time for a girls night out.. a buncha us met at a favorite chinese restaurant a friend of ours owns..

The special was Hot Buttered Rum.. made with eggnog .. I don’t know what it’s normally made with.. but OMG it was YUMMY!

And I earned my first hang over since i was 14 (A much less dignified story involving a game of quarters). At last count, I’d had 10 of those lil suckers, I recall singing with my friends on the way home.. in a taxi.. and I know from the bill that it must not have been a very good tune, as we tipped him accordingly, anyway..

YAY for eggnog, and for holiday drunks, it was lotsa fun :noel:
