some things you can try to troubleshoot your connectivity issue after SP3 update
– uncheck the firewall in the properties of the connection
– login to your router and re-enter your username/password for logging into your ISP (sometimes the SP update resets this)
– Reset your TCP/IP stack
* click Start, Run, type cmd
* type netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
* hit enter
* restart computer
– Flush your dns cache
* click Start, Run, type cmd
* type ipconfig /flushdns
* hit enter
*restart computer
