InactiveJust to make this domain name more attractive, you can also think of http://www.lolcasino.com as: Lots of Luck casino or having lots of luck. Even more interesting for the Dutch customer of a casino like this, the word lol in dutch means “fun” litterally and it is commonly used in dutch society, so theres a valuable catchy name in other countries “fun casino” http://www.lolcasino.com!

InactiveTheres gotta be someone who is interested in this domain name. I will sell this domain to the first person who offers $1 million. Any casino companys out there are more than welcome to drop by and make some offers. Are there any suggestions or comments about this domain name? Is there a better way to get this information out to the casinos?
Thanks, Ryan

InactiveTo be honest, there is no way someone will pay a million dollars for a domain name that is undeveloped and is just a name. If there were traffic to the name or super brandable (IE. OnlineCasino.com, InternetCasino.com) It could get a good amount of money. But the way it is now, I don’t think anyone will pay a premium for the name. (I would be very suprised if you sold it for over $100)… imo
There was a reason you could still register it on the 9th of this month…No one felt it was valuable enough to register. Never a good sign. You can always develop it and make it worth something

InactiveThanks for the feedback kdollar, but wouldn’t you think that would be a great name for an just an average online casino? It’s a very catchy and easy to remember name and would be simple to market. Even if I couldn’t get a million dollars, how much would a casino pay for it. I would still accept an offer less than $1 million, it doesnt have to be a million dollars, its just an instant ‘buy now’ price, anything less could be a bid. I’ve seen some hard to remember casino names that are long and aren’t very catchy. For example. sixshootercasino.com lol. I think lolcasino.com is one of the easy to remember and brandable once it gets marketed, and i sense it could be a killer hit after it is well known and commercialized. How much do you think they paid to get sixshootercasino.com or staronlinecasino.com? They are probablly making many millions off those casinos now, now if they had an easy to remember name like lolcasino.com, it would be like the easy to remember trademark, no one else has a name like that. I’m really not that experienced in selling domain names, nor do I know a good price to sell it at. I’m also not trying to do something spammy, but I seriously think this is one is a killer domain name, its a big fish!
Even I was shocked that the name was still available, ususally all the short and easy to remember names are taken. I know it has 0 content and has only been around for a short while, but I’m only selling this name as a new brand name that a casino could use, I believe it is worth nothing at the moment, but i think it has a huge potential in the long run for a casino, not so much as an affiliate site, since obviously it would be worth nothing then.
Again, thanks for the feedback kdollar. Any more feedback or advice is welcome. Thanks, Ryan

But, hey, it’s always worth a try. You don’t get anywhere if you don’t try, right?

InactiveI think most casino’s that are already established don’t pay for their names and just register a domain name and make it brandable. Or if they do buy their names buy them for a couple thousand. (just a guess)

InactiveTo my mind, LOLCasino is an awful name and I suspect that most reading this thread will agree with me. Whatever else gambling is supposed to be – a hobby, fun, even a career; it’s not really about ‘laughing out loud’ . Any casino that uses that name leaves themselves open to easy attacks . ‘LOLCasino is no laughing matter’, etc.
There’s plenty of better domain names out there that would have more, positive brand value. Even they aren’t worth $1 million.

InactiveThanks for your feedback tryme1. I can see your point, I even stated in my first point of this type of possibility. As I thought harder about this, a name like lolcasino.com may or may not be open to easy attack, but that is actually a kind of publicity, and any kind of publicity, such as the grill cheese sandwhich being sold for $40k is good publicity. Sure, some people use gambling as a career and as a hobby and take is seriously, but for most of the people, gambling is just a form of entertainment – expect to lose your money with the chance of winning big – have fun and laugh out loud! :woohoo: As on of the biggest rules of gambling, if your not having fun, then you shouldn’t be gambling, cause you’re going to lose anyways. Also, when your gambling, EVERYONE wants to win big or win the jackpot, they ALL want to be screaming and laughing out loud and going nuts! I think this name is a good catch for that sort of thing. As for selling the domain name, it will likely not sell for a million dollars, but why not try anyways, i’ll probably be selling the domain name cheaper than that anyways, just so I can see a new casino built and I can advertise it as an affiliate!:woo-hoo:

InactiveBREAKING NEWS!!!:santa2: I just made a killer deal with a man and paid a fair price to get ownership of http://www.lolpoker.com. I have paid him and the domain name is still in the process of being transfered over to my name.
So how is this important? If an online casino company is interested in buying lolcasino.com, they can also get lolpoker.com at the same time! This is an excellent brandable name for poker because some casinos like goldenpalace.com have a second poker addition to their casino: goldenpalacepoker.com. So any casino who has lolcasino.com can also have the poker addition to their business at lolpoker.com!
I just thought this would be big news for anyone interesting in buying these domain names. The guy that sold the name to me said he thought this was an excellent domain name also and I had to pay alot for it, so i know i’m not the only person who thinks this name is successful. So if anyone is interest, feel free to PM me or email me.
Thanks, Ryan

InactiveHere is another domain name I am throwing into the package: http://www.lolslots.com
lolcasino.com, lolpoker.com, and now lolslots.com are all great brandable names for a new online casino that is starting up. lol can stand for just about anything, lots of luck, lots of love, lots of laughs, there are so many meanings and more potential customers who look for places like this! :hithead:
All three names in this package will for $750,000 which is down from my original offer since I am getting more of a clue of what they are actually worth.
PM me if you want to make an offer.
Does anyone know where I can contact a gambling news agency so I can get this information out to the whole gambling industry or at least to my target audience of online casino companys?
Thanks, Ryan

InactiveHey I just talked to a friend about your domain name and she asked if lol meant lots of losers! Just another acronym it can stand for…

InactiveI would have thought the price you paid to get lolpoker.com would probably give a good indication of what you could expect lolcasino.com to fetch.
April 26, 2006 at 3:21 am #690057Anonymous
Inactivelol maybe i paid a few hundred thousand for it!
I know there are alot of people looking at this site, I just want to let everyone know that the price that is shown is the buy now price. I am almost certain that I will sell the site for less.
Feel free to make an offer, I may just accept it, especially if you’re a casino company. If you’re a casino company, just make any kind of offer because I know I’ll be able to make even more money just being an affiliate and will try to be your #1 affiliate if I can.
Thanks,
