InactiveHello all,
I wanted to introduce myself as the Marketing Manager in charge of affiliate programs for PokerStars. As has previously been mentioned, we are making some changes, which has included the creation of my position.
We are aware that there are currently challenges within our system but are working hard to make improvements. In the meantime, please feel free to address any questions or comments to me at the email address below.

InactiveThe email I got outlining the PokerStars program indicated that they only did CPA deals and wouldn’t consider anything else, and asked for my URL’s so they could decide whether or not I could be an affiliate. I sent them my URL’s for their review and never heard back from them.
I play at Poker Stars, and I was interested in promoting them, but I got the feeling that they aren’t too affiliate friendly, just based on the tone of their email and their lack of response when I sent them my URL’s.
Just my two cents.
I would like to report that I’m doing VERY well with Golden Palace Poker so far, and I still do well with Party Poker also.

InactiveRandy,
same feelings here. pokerstars is not “affiliate friendly.” they need to have a percentage based model in addition to the CPA one. that is why i would rather promote Party, Empire, Pokerroom, etc.
that is also why i hope that Party remains #1 because I am making the most money from them.

InactiveTheir email to me was very clear that they would not even consider offering a rev share percentage at any time in the near future. It was so clear about this issue that it was almost abrupt.

InactiveRich told me ages ago that the reason they only do a CPA is that it’s more like a “referal fee” and not a commission base, which they feel is more legal.
For some reason they don’t want to get into rev. share, they have a paranoia about the legalites of it.June 15, 2004 at 7:31 pm #650563Anonymous
Inactivei think they should be worried about the legalities of online gambling as opposed to the legalities of paying their affiliates a percentage of the revenues.
