InactiveDomain extensions only affect geographical results. But anything other than a .com or .eu would be harder to market for an international or generic audience. At the end of the day it all boils down to SEO.

InactiveI had a ws in the past and I did not notice much difference from a com in terms of rankings on search engines. Off course it’s better to have a com because people remembers better but in terms of seo i think there is no much difference.

InactiveI have a lot of .ws domains, seem to act as any other..
Supposibly it was a country domain but is being changes to mean web site..
Not 100% but that is what I read about it way back when.

biggygMemberI personally dont think domain names means anything , i proved it with my SEO experiment i did back in november.I bought a 10 dollar domain with iraqdinar in the name and it has been in top 10 of all search engines ,even today . The content ON the page is what counts in serps.
