InactiveYour results are better than anything I ever managed to generate with them.

InactiveNot sure how long you have promoted them, but it takes a long time to build up a player base there thats big enough to generate good money.
In my experience, the player value is generally 10% of that of a casino player. Of course this depends, like always, on your type of traffic.
Depending on how long you have been doing this, your stats may not be bad at all.

InactiveUgh! Not too good a term!
if any registered user fails to play any Game for period of 30 consecutive days or longer (“Inactive Users”), then Affiliate shall not be entitled to any further Net Revenue Share from such registered user thereafter, and all revenue generated by such registered user shall go to WorldWinner.

That is quite a rogue term. I’m not sure how one can promote them with that term.

InactiveThanks for pointing out that term. I’ll be sure never to bother with WorldWinner again.

UkbfvujiMemberI promoted worldwinner but earning is not very big. Many tournaments don’t have a lot of visitors and players. You can generate a lot of fun players.

InactiveYears back, probably 5 or 6, i did a cobranding with them on my lotto site and dictionary site (for word games) i send 100’s of free players from the dictionary, dozens from lottery, and picked up 1 or 2 players, over many months and less than $5.
i took them down, a couple of years later i get a call from their sales person.
“We made a lot of changes since you last tried, you should really give us a try”
Ok, send me $1000 against my commissions and i’ll give you at least 3 months exposure
“Well i can’t do that”
So i gave you guys top exposure for 6+ months in the past and made $0 and i should but you back up on my sites because?
“Because we’re better now”
Oh, you sucked before, but i should give you more free exposure, because ‘This time it will be different’?
:sarcasm:

Inactive1) Is it a standard routine to receive IRS tax forms before I get paid by worldwinner.com ?
2) Who sent me IRS tax forms… IRS or worldwinner ?
March 20, 2008 at 2:13 pm #763758Anonymous
InactiveWorldwinner is deducting your pay from it’s income and is by law required to send you a tax form.
As a business, when you hire independent contractors to do work for you, you can deduct this from your taxes. If their pay exceeds a certain amount, you are required to send them a tax form.

InactiveJames,
Thoses stats look weak to say the least. From your figures they convert at 10% from signup to depositor and the player value is low. My only guess is they do not go after the leads and have limited payment solutions available.
I have never promoted these guys and know little of them. I am sure they have a product that works but are not being aggressive enough.
I look at 25% conversion rate for an average book and around $160 player value for the life. With the figures yuo showed me you should be looking at around 6k and not under the 1k you mentioned.
My two cents,

InactiveDom,
The tax thing is interesting, and I have a question for any tax savvy person out there.
Who do you pay the tax to? Is it the US government, the place of licence or the place you work from?
March 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm #763906Anonymous
InactiveThe country that holds your citizenship and the country you reside in both have claims.
However, you do not have to pay double tax, as a rule of thumb it’s the country you reside in that gets the money.
However, there can be exceptions and you best ask a professional about your particular case.
The place of licence, if different, may or may not add it’s own claims. Ususally that’s just a nominal fee.
Don’t take my word for it though, I am still trying to wrap my head around this, and various countries will have totally different rules.

Is it a W9 form? That’s a pretty standard form. One of my retail site affiliates switched from Linkshare to CJ and I just filled out the form yesterday. I believe I already filled one out a few years ago as well.
