Spearmaster,
I am probably more responsable for the misunderstanding than anyone. John is very knew at this and I am giving him the opportunity to manage these affiliates and I had not thought that net win needed much explanation. Jon was thinking of it from the players perspective and thought that it ment net player win. Anyway we had not discussed it, he was turned around on the issue and without a doubt I should have discussed all the elements a lot better with him.
In response to Jons post it was not enough for him to mix up the net win stuff he had to throw in that comment about the threats. Prior to your post I had already counseled Jon that he needed to work on his tact and that his comment regarding casinogeld was unnecessary.
You are correct in stating that any threats by casinogeld have no effect on payment. Honestly if I were them I would have been very pissed as well and likely stated the same things they did. Jon did apologize directly to casinogeld and by not posting that here thought he was saving some face. He has a lot to learn but I think he is going to be effective for us in the long run and I am trying to give him more guidance.
Regardless I do apologize for the situation and rest assured Jon is 100% clear now on how Net Win works.
We would like to work with more of you all in promoting our websites and I hope that this situation at least can reassure all of you that we do appreciate our affiliates and work hard to understand all the issues.

June 12, 2004 at 10:40 pm #650488AnonymousGuestwell done Andrew.
I don’t know if I will ever promote your site or not; but I can tell you that I have NOT decided to not promote it largely due to your last post.
Cheers!

Well, that furthers aff/human relationships a lot.
I really do not see the point of verbal animosity in threads. Do you?
June 15, 2004 at 9:36 pm #650569AnonymousInactiveThat depends. Certain people (speaking in general) need to be challenged before they will take any action. They think that as long as the boards are quiet, they don’t have to worry – or worry more if the issue becomes public.
Should there be any animosity? No. Is it required? No, with some exceptions.
This board serves a useful purpose in allowing people to interact with each other – but there will always be some disagreements, and often challenges simply because of human nature.
Me, I like to tweak people… but only when they have it coming to them, if it serves no purpose I certainly won’t waste time saying anything.
