InactiveIts an Annual event at the family home – Wimbledon every night, and some early mornings to watch the kings of tennis battle it out. I’ve never been able to watch it for more then 30 mins.. but… my folks swear by it!
I just got back from their house after having dinner – they’re settling in for an evening of Mens tennis action.

myguinMemberAlways a fantastic summer event! :hattip:
For those of you who have been following the action over the past week, here are the Quarter final matches for both Gentlemen and Ladies;
Ladies Quarter Finals – 28th June
Sabine Lisicki v Marion Bartoli
Petra Kvitova v Tsvetana Pironkova
Tamira Paszek v Victoria Azarenka
Dominika Cibulkova v Maria SharapovaThe Williams sisters are both out which leaves the ladies competition wide open. Sharapova is the punters favorite but the impressive Lisicki could spring a surprise.
Gentleman Quarter Finals – 29th June
Andy Murray v Feliciano Lopez
Bernard Tomic v Novak Djokovic
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga v Roger Federer
Rafael Nadal v Mardy FishIt’s fair to say at this stage Bernard Tomic has been the surprise package. The young Aussie has played some of the best tennis of his life and now faces the determined Djokovic who aims to stop his tournament at the quarters!

For a moment there I thought Nadal was going to have to pull out of the match after he hurt is leg!! Amazing that he came back to win it in 4 sets!

He really got pushed though.
It’s amazing how good he really is. He is 25 years old, and he’ still in his prime.
I thought it would be hard to match someone like Sampras.. but then comes Federer then Nadal.. and now there 1-2 players looking to knock on that door of superiority as well.

Ivo van BeekMemberI really didnt expect Tsonga to win that match! After Federer was up 2 sets I stoped watching the match, I thought it would be a sealed deal!

myguinMemberIt was quite amazing!
At 2 sets up Federer was a very short 1/500!!! which meant you could have got a cool 50/1 with bet365 on Tsonga……
If only we had seen this coming :wow:
