InactiveGood question. I think that:
# Things may well get worse before they get better
# Yes the US will eventually regulate (but it may take years)
# The reputable Casinos would generally credit back old players BUT the process of consolidation that goes on in the meantime may mean many brands have merged/sold/disappeared.My conclusion: no harm in finding new US players; definately plan a US strategy for the future; time better spent now targetting other countries.

InactiveThere is no panic for me. I work as usual and continue to work more hard. I have a lot of plans in my business.
And I agree with LadyHoldem to promote casinos accepting US players only on CPA model.

vladcizsolMember# Will you guys & girls still promote to the US players?
Yes, US players represent 80%+ of the market. When a famous US bank robber was asked WHY he robbed banks he said “Because thats where the money is!”.
# Is it worth the gamble financially for your time?
That remains to be seen.# Do you think eventually the US will allow online gaming then?
On a national basis no. Is it possible that it will be allowed on a state by state basis? Perhaps but I dont believe the land based casinos will be big affiliate program supporters. They are quite comfortable buying media and they have massive databases of existing clients to market to. They wont need or want affiliates.# Will those that have closed to the US, give you your players back do you reckon?
a)There is no reason to believe they wont as long as its technically feasible. Everyone is assuming most players would come back. They may not. Once their accounts are closed they will most likely go elsewhere and may not WANT to return. I know if you closed my account I would be mad that you dropped me and didnt support my freedom to play online.
b) It’s important to remember that the casinos have always maintained all the player data. If they were inclined to do so they could have stolen players pretty much at will. They didnt need a cover screen to do it. It all comes down to trust, you either trust the partners you are working with or you dont.

GuestHi all,
I had to chime in about the CPA deals.
personally I have seen income on rev share that no CPA deal could stand up to … and it stands to reason if a player can gamble … they’ll quickly outdo any CPA deal offered … just my opinion.

InactiveThat is my opinion ‘normally’ as well BB1 .. but… having broken my own personal records with Cpays last month, only to have all monies refunded to players, and not to have made a dime, until all of this settles down, you really don’t know who is dropping out, or who is staying in.. if i promote today, will you still let my players play tomorrow? etc.. sooo I’m going CPA when prmoting US
