InactiveGenerally from my knowledge the casino and affiliates program is owned by the same people, and you can’t just sign up directly through the casino even if you wanted.

InactiveCasinos do have marketing departments and some do purchase advertising on portals without having to go through an affiliate program. However; I would guess that you would need a popular well-established site and not be a startup for this to occur.

InactiveYou do tend to need a well established and high traffic site to get media sells with the casinos, i have done a few of these in the past for a while and they are willing to go very high on a cpa deal from my expierience.

InactiveYes, in most cases affiliate programs are not middlemen, but casino’s division for dealing with us. There is a lot of talk about “our client” and how “we aren’t the same company”, but that’s almost always BS, they’re different companies, but are owned and controlled by the same people.

InactiveThanks for the answers but I still do not understand. Take Brand Conversions for example. One of their clients is Coral yet I could bypass Brand Conversions and affiliate directly through Coral using their Merchant Trade Doubler.
So my question is what advantage would it be for me to go through somebody like Brand Conversions?

InactiveHi Simon
I hope you don’t mind me picking up on this thread!
As I mentioned to you in another forum, you have the advantages of third party transparency, dedicated affiliate support etc. by working with a network such as Brand Conversions.
But to answer why chose Trade Doubler, DGM or Brand Conversions if you wish to promote Coral, the answer would be that it would depend on your area of promotion and personal network preferences.
For example, Brand Conversions offer no negative carry over, lifetime value of the player open wallet rev share for Coral with sign up and loyalty bonuses for Coral Casino and Coral Poker as well as a £10 Game of the Month bonus. Trade Doubler on the other hand offer CPA on Coral sportsbook plus a free £10 sportsbet.

InactiveAt the end of the day it’s who’s offering you the best deal (assuming you trust both parties) – who cares if it’s direct or otherwise?

InactiveBasically your saying that you choose the affiliate that offers the most appropiate deal to you. As I am new to this game I just wondered if there was any reason why a casino would choose one affiliate over another.
Thanks to your answers I feel a lot clearer on this subject now.
