InactiveYes – but only as a tertiary browser – and in fact I use it for one of the reasons that you list as a “con”.
I utilise the fact that Google is watching, and visit all my freshly created pages each day, and then terminate the browser session, so that Chrome will send all the new URLs up to Google.
:tongue:I have no proof that this actually works – although my new pages do get indexed fast – and I like the theory behind it …

ExpertistMemberI really dislike the fact that the google toolbar cannot be used with chrome.

pennyslotsMemberI like it – its completely hassle free, easy to use and fast.
My main browser use to be firefox – the first time I downloaded chrome it asked me if I wanted to move all my functionalities from firefox to chrome, which it did fine, but I suspect you probably have more intricate tools than I did?

arturs.vitolsMemberI still love firefox for its ability to use third party plug ins. The same way I love an iphone. Third party stuff is great and makes for a better user experience. However, on my computer, it runs too slow. Maybe I just need an upgrade…
Gooner, I like your idea about being watched and having pages indexed. I hadn’t thought of it like that, and I’m not positive it works, but its a good theory.
Forgot to mention, search from the address bar is a big plus. It saves me a bunch of time, because if I start typing a url and realize I there are not cookies on it, I just hit enter anyway and it searches for it.

arturs.vitolsMemberThe incognito window is kind of funny. They promote it saying you can shop opnline for gifts without a trace remaining, but lets be serious, we all know what it is being used for…

:hattip:If you have any Google acccount, WMT, gmail etc, just stay permanently signed in and visit your sites. they pick it up from your history. The downside is if you are developing something new it will index it even if you aren’t ready as I recently found out!

InactiveI’m aware of that Simmo – but those history checks are done on a daily basis at best – I suspect only a couple of times a week.
We often write sports content that has a brief 24 hour lifecycle (from preview to game being played) and I’ve found the a Chrome visit to new pages and then closing the browser seems to benefit.
