Hi All,
I am new to this forum but am very happy to have found it. I hope to be discussing interesting gaming related topics with some of you in the near future.
I am going to the Casino Affiliate Conference in Amsterdam in April and was wondering if anyone else from this forum is going?
Cheers,
Chris.

I know of at least four of our members who will be attending, so you will be in great company. Marc puts on a quality conference, I am sure you will find it worth its weight in gold.
Good to see you and please join us in other discussions in the forums.
:thumbsup:January 22, 2004 at 12:58 pm #643880AnonymousInactiveThanks for the warm welcome.
That’s great news that some of you are attending the conference.
I was concerened about the attendance level because they don’t publish an attendees list on the website.
I’ll have a browse of these topics and see if I can join in somewhere.
Cheers,
Chris.
January 22, 2004 at 1:14 pm #643882AnonymousInactiveDon’t know yet if I will be attending the conference.
I will be hanging out in the bar/lobby of the Hotel thoughJanuary 22, 2004 at 1:34 pm #643885AnonymousInactiveThe bar sounds like the place to be (lol).
I hope to be there too for as much of it as possible.
January 23, 2004 at 5:33 am #643909AnonymousInactiveThose that attend the event win as the event focuses on the following 3 topics specific to online gaming:
-Increasing Casino/Sportsbook Web Traffic
-Increasing Conversion Rates
-Increasing Customer RetentionJust ask anyone that’s gone to the event. Espescially affiliates. It is designed for you to generate ideas on how to raise your revenue. It applies to both affiliates and gaming operators.
There are few (very few) that wait outside because they can’t afford to get in the event. [They had to travel all the way to Amsterdam for the event.] Its sad to watch 3-5 people sitting outside my door when 180+ casino operators and affiliates are inside networking, doing deals and learning to increase traffic.
Lastly, outside at the bar you pay for the beer. At the end of the event, there are 2 kegs of beer for all delegates in the final 90+ minute debate. At every event I’ve run, the beer never runs out.

January 23, 2004 at 8:12 am #643912AnonymousInactiveHi Marc,
I apologise if you took my comment seriously about spending all my time in the bar. I was merely having a joke with Breakfast man about spending more time in the bar than in the conference.
I plan to spend as much time as I can in the conference for all the reasons you mentioned and more.
Really looking forward to it and I hope that I get to meet you at ICE next week.
Take Care,
Chris.
January 23, 2004 at 8:14 am #643913AnonymousInactiveHi Janet,
Can you post the details for the affiliate meet in the Bahamas the week after CAC2004 please?
That sounds really interesting.
Cheers,
Chris.

I have to agree with Marc. I go for the free beer. No one taps a keg better than Mr. Lesnick:p
February 11, 2004 at 7:15 pm #644687AnonymousInactiveThanks for the compliment on the beer tapping. My former bartending days from college taught me to keep the alcohol flowing
No offense taken PitBossUK. I was just advising anyone that loitering at these events is not wise.
