The name Gian Perroni sounds familiar, but I don’t remember from where. CAP Euro maybe?
Either way — I don’t appreciate my contact information being sold/shared/stolen and then used in this manner.

InactiveGian was the VP at Absolute Poker and then moved over to VP247 and this is his new company.

Inactivegreat way to start off… By spamming.

InactivePersonally I dont consider these emails spam.
According to spam rules as I know them, a person that you have a business relationship with can contact you for up to 2 years after the relationship was teminated.

Good for you, but I have never dealt with him nor any company he has ever been affiliated with. So – it is 100% spam.

dantefoxfoxMemberHi guys,
I wanted to let you know that Gian Perroni was the VP of Absolute Poker and is now running CanAffco, a company that is representing a number of merchants including Vegas Poker 247. I also work alongside Gian and have met many of you at various affiliate conventions.
We are sorry to have inconvenienced anyone and we are of course honoring unsubscribes immediately. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact myself at [email protected]
Cheers,
Tarlan

InactiveThanks Tarlan – Now, if I ‘unsubscribe’ to this email….
How will I know that this ‘mambonetcom.com’ will remove my email from their list and not realize (like so many other list companies) that this is a ‘real email address’ and start opting me into a bunch of other crap?
And – How did I get on the list to start with since I have never signed up for any of these programs? That bugs me a lot since now I am on a list and will likely start getting more spam.

If you can “bounce” the emails, then you should be removed from their list without having to reply. That’s what I’ve done, and they stopped.
I know what you mean about not wanting to reply, that’s a sure sign for spammers to fire away!

Good idea Amateur. Can you give me an idea how to do this? I’m sure there is some way (via CPanel) to do that, but I’ve never tried

Thanks!

Exactly!! This is going on quite a bit as of late, seems to me there are several people leaving jobs with large email list, and I want my name off of them! If I like your program I will sign up, a sure way to make sure I stay clear is by SPAMMING me, Tarlan no matter how you phrase it believe me it is SPAM.

What has me confused is that they claim to represent Slotland and Bingo heart – I already belong to their affiliates programs. What gives?

InactiveI too was surprised at this CanAffco email blasts.
I can imagine Gian Perroni means well, otherwise he wouldn’t put his name on the emails or the site but a “John Doe” monicker.

But I agree, the blast was done in bad taste or poor judgment – like Simon’s sportsbook affiliates email blast.
So, Gian is back in serving the affiliate market? He ran a company before that offered tracking of affiliate accounts on one site.
Good luck to his new venture.
