I don’t know about anyone else, but to me a Whale is anyone that deposits and then plays 10,000 USD or more.

Wagers 10,000 in bets or loses 10,000?? I think a whale is someone who loses around 5k a month.

A whale is classified as someone who never visits my site.

THAT is funny! And – I agree. However, a whale is what you make of it. Could be someone who spends $10k in a casino per month (loses), could be someone who spends $2k. It just depends upon your perspective, really.

Well, I call em a Whale when someone deposits 10 grand and then plays. No matter if they win or lose. But that is just my opinion.

If someone deposits 10 grand, for the most part they can afford to lose it…. :la-de-da:

But like kwblue sz, it all just a matter of perspective.

No doubt it is all relative. For an affiliate that isn’t doing so hot yet, a player going in and losing even $1K might be considered a whale.

Yeah it totally depends on you perspective. For me a whale would be 5k or more in losses.

There was a thread on this topic over a year ago call “Whale Spotting” I believe. I think that somewhat of a consensus was reached where a whale was anyone that brought over $1,000 a month in revenue to the affiliate. I would concur with that estimation.
