Guestokay for me I liked riverbelle and grand bay most of all.
riverbelle was kinda crowded but it threw all the info at me that (apparently) I wanted to know, and it stuck with me as my favorite until I started thinking what was it that all the casinos (i’d now made it almost all the way down the list) were missing that I thought would help.
Winners! Winning! Win BIG!
I saw none of this.
finally towards the end I saw the words win at colloseum but other than that; I didn’t really care for the site. I didn’t dislike it; but it just didn’t do that special thing for me.
After finishing my list, I finally decided on Grand Bay because it had the word win, or winner, or similar, along with the info that all quality sites should have such as license, payout %, support, etc.
And the kid in me liked the boat (insert sheepish smilie here).
I should have also asked which site(s) you disliked the most, and why? (think I’ll go add that now).
For me, I didn’t care for any of the CR sites because for one, they didn’t take up the whole page which sorta gives an amateurish feel and they just didn’t excite me to gamble, with the exception of BJB, which was the better of the lot by far IMHO.
No offense is meant towards anybody, and in fact, it was Brent who got me thinking about this as he said he was worried because some affs had complained that converts were bad. he said he wasn’t sure if that was the case or if it was because those affs were forgetting that their stats are done differently than most, (where the “join” comes into play).
I think its likely a combo IMHO. And will be reporting to him that i think that all the websites could use some spiffing up, but before I write him I’ll wait and see what others think.
thanks in advance for the help.

Guestso vd, I saw you’ve added some casinos I didn’t have in the list.
to be sure you understand, I’m asking what when you visit the sites yourself; which one compells you the most to want to join?
were those casinos you personally felt most compelled to join? in that order?
and could you say why you preferred them?
thanks for participating.

Guestto further explain why I am asking this; is because I feel that if we do our job well, that most the time the reason we convert is because we already have sold the casino to the surfer before they ever arrive at the casino website.
If that is true, then its rather unlikely that the surfer has visited 10 or 15 different casino websites before they either sign up or go somewhere else.
So what I’m wanting to know is which casino is going to convert best once I get thru with my selling pitch. And I thought I might find this out by having some of you visit enough of the casino websites that they all should kinda look the same to you, seeing as there are so many; and then if one of the many jumps out at you …. well I think that might be very useful info.

Guestyou know something you’re right about vegasslots. I forgot about them. But now that you reminded, me, I also, found it a good site and also liked the download link.
I also agree that almost all the websites were rather dark and dismal. and I agree about forcing popups on people.
thanks again.

InactiveI like King Neptunes best, by a very long shot. They are different and dare to be attractive instead of a billboard that won’t let my eyes focus on anything.
Most casinos have no character and nothing that sets them apart. Just real ugly or less ugly.
I think they used to be better years ago – not so confusing. I hate the bill board format.

GuestI agree with most of that Dom, with the exception that I too; dislike the noise that I get when I visit neptunes.
I never did understand that one.
I also feel the flash is over done but I’ve never been a fan of flash anyway.
I wish more people would take time to look these sites over. The sponsors will take note of your suggestions if you take time to check out the websites and make them.
I think what we sometimes forget is that it doesn’t matter how good we are at pitching a casino if when the surfer arrives at their site; they are left feeling confused; bombarded with overkill; or left with questions which aren’t answered somewhere on the website.
think about it; how often do you email a website with a question that you are left to ponder because the website didn’t answer it? maybe 20% of the time? I know that’s about right with me. the rest of the time I just keep surfing until I find what I’m looking for.
emailing questions takes too long to get a reply, if you get one at all.
And I think nearly all the websites lack that “get in there and start winning now!” feel. Which I think is a bigtime seller to gamblers.
