vladcizsolMemberHeres the ones I know for sure.
ReferBack.com – No Carry Over
CasinoCoins.com – No Carry Over
CasinoRewards.com – No Carry Over
Captain Cooks Casino – No Carry OverTo be honest Chris I dont think the majority of the others do either. Negative Carry over virtually ensures LESS exposure for casinos in the long run.
Once an affiliate has a negative balance they dont feel they can quickly erase will pull your program and you’ve lost a potential good long term partner.

Add Fortune to the no negative carryover list from those in your list – and as for Playtech operations, it appears nearly all of them actually DO carry over negative balances – but not for much longer I’m sure LOL.

InactiveI thought as much and it makes perfect sense to me.
I am on a fact finding mission and your feedback is very useful.
Thanks very much
Chris

I tend to just walk away when I have a negative balance and pull the casino. Somehow there is always some residual traffic and eventually the negative disappears.
Unfortunately, with the number of competing casinos out there, by then I will usually have found a permanent replacement.
I know it’s not nice, but it is what I do.

InactiveYou are running a business and you have to manage your own bottom line.
If a particular program has been very good to you and suddenly attracts a negative balance, as long as they don’t carry it over I usually keep their banners up.
Programs with negative balance carryovers rarely find time on my site unless there is space and some additional incentive.
I am not ashamed to admit that ordinary programs on my site, if they go in the hole a reasonable amount, will simply lose their position for the rest of the month. If, however, these casinos were to buy advertising instead, not only would they guarantee their position, but not have to pay affiliate earnings.
Catch-22. Ultimately up to the casino operator to decide how important a permanent/guaranteed position on the site is. But I am watching my own bottom line because I have to feed three kids and put them through international school.
That having been said, I am still quite picky about what is allowed on site – if I don’t know the program or the operators well enough, it doesn’t qualify except under very special circumstances – like a trial run. For example, you will never see Windows on Got2Bet, even though we were amongst their first affiliates and I actually kind of liked them… until they started pulling stunts which I simply considered unacceptable and could not in good faith promote to my visitors.

I would like to take this opportunity to give something useful back.
Does anyone have any questions about the UK market? (for example)
March 23, 2004 at 6:33 pm #646729Anonymous
InactiveI understand that table games are big in the UK. How big is blackjack compared to baccarat for example?
And are you familiar with any online casinos who offer european roulette with the en prison rule? I know of several online casinos who offer european style roulette, but I can’t find any info regarding that particular rule…

This is a good question, are we talking about magazines/newspapers or Billboards?
Casino On Net , Pacific Poker and The Gaming Club frequently advertise on billboards in London.
The London Underground is a very popular destination for casino advertisers.
I have also seen casino’s advertise in daily newspapers such as the Metro.
If your target audience is commuters (city workers) then you could try advertising in the Metro. This is a well read free newspaper that is distributed at Railway stations in the morning.
Who is your target market? (I will reply with a selection of newspapers and magazines that fall into these categories).
