we bought a house and it wasnt ready on time, of course we had already sold the other one so we had to live with the mother in law for 4 months…not a pleasant period!

I am happy to move, my old house got flooded two years ago and I have been renting a nearby shack for all that time!

The foundation for the new one was set on Sept 15, 2007, so it’s been a year of building.

There is still construction going on – the deck and then fencing. Then landscaping, the place is a construction site now lol.

I am just glad to be out of the tiny, dark shack and I love the new house.

Pics coming up when the construction crew leaves…

Oh, and while I have this thread going – I regret to tell everyone that I am not going to be in Barcelona this time.

Just too much going on with the move right now, it’s not possible for me to leave.

I’ll see everyone in London in January, unless you make it to Vegas in late October, where G&C will be meeting again.

What a bummer!! I will have to stay sober now since Donna and Donnie won’t be there to pick me up off the floor :sarcasm:

Oct trip to Vegas that does sound nice! Looking forward to the pics.

    That is awesome Dom!

I’m sure that you will be very happy when you get settled in.

We move into our newly built home in November 2006 and it’s a huge responsibilty but one that I’m happy to have. I just wish the grass would cut it’s self and the snow melt very quickly. Those are two chores that we do not enjoy at all and may just have to break down and get a service to do it for us.

Can’t wait for the pictures. :)
