InactiveI feel like a broken record… I just posted this response to someone else the other day, but…
HostGator is good, inexpensive, and I have never had any downtime yet.
Good support also.

InactiveIf you want free hosting for domains, 5gigs will be offering free domain hosting around Sept 1. No forced banners or pop-ups, only a discreet bottom of page footer. Can also get domains there for under $8.

InactiveI’ve used 1and1.com for nearly 2 years… CHEAP and NO PROBLEMS.
I get a lot for my dollar.
For as little as like $6.99 a month you’ll be set. I paid $9.99 and that included 3 .com domain registrations, hosting and a whole slew of other things.January 24, 2006 at 9:11 pm #681768Anonymous
InactiveI don`t like to have my sites hosted in the same company in which I made the registration.
To much dependency.January 26, 2006 at 10:18 pm #681981Anonymous
InactiveI hooked up with http://freewebhosting.ws. It ain’t free but it’s very inexpensive and you can host an unlimited amount of domains for $36.00 a year. They ask for the money upfront and take PayPal. They have excellent support. They give you 1000 MB of space and 2000 GB of transfer each month. If you need more bandwidth it’s $3.00 per GB and you can pay for it as needed when needed.
No ! I’m not getting nothing for touting them and wouldn’t unless they were straight up….They are a good company….Ask for Bob ….tell them Robert the Gambling Guy sent you…they know me…

InactiveWhere can I buy & host a good domain with a good price guys?
I would check with each hosting company on which ones give you, your own ip or a shared ip.. It is not always good to have a shared ip since a ip can get banned from the engines.
