Great shortlist, but I think -affiliate friendly terms and conditions are obviously also a must for a trustworthy program. Quotas and minimum activity rules and especially retroactive changes of terms are not something you will expect from a trustworthy programs.

If a casino is good (i.e. if players like the casino, the bonuses etc…), affiliate friends terms and steady payments is enough for me to promote it, with the possibility of getting in touch with an affiliate manager coming up close to these. Not sure I really need anything else.

PJotter, one of us is a mind reader, or maybe it’s both of us cause I was just thinking as I read Jill’s list of what is one of, if not the most important aspect of trusting affiliate managers and programs; TERMS & CONDITIONS.

I have been looking for a tenth sports book to add to eazybetz for quit some time. On several occasions I thought it found it until I saw the T&C’S. An active affiliate is one that gets 3 depositing new customers in a 3-month period and have $750 in commission before being able to collect?? Not me, I don’t care how cool your banners look, how nice you are or what software you use. If you have to have terms with these types of conditions, I’m out. Good Call PJ.

    Hi Guys,

Hearing that the terms and conditions are important, I was wondering if you would mind taking a look at mine, http://affiliates.gamingrevenueshare.com/public/GRStermsandconditions.html . Am I on the right track here. I have put a great deal of time into the program and would hate for it not to succeed as it could because of something as simple as T & C. Thanks for the help.

To me, these terms and conditions seem vague, maybe there are more I didnt see, but from the link you provided, I would ask some questions.

Anyone else agree with me on that?

    Thank you Bud,

As far as vague goes, what types of things are you looking for? What is important that you as an affiliate want to see to say “This is a program for me?” I appreciate the help as I try to build a top quality, affiliate friendly program

Absolutely great point! OMG, can’t believe this one was overlooked…. T’s & C’s are huge. If they’re not in the affiliate’s favor, all of the time and energy that an affiliate applies is not really worth it!

Another item that I think is a big deal… Customization for top producing affiliates.

IMO, if a program has a stellar affiliate that is sending strong quality traffic, the affiliate support team needs to provide customized items for this affiliate. Perhaps special/exclusive banners, copy and other marketing tools… Even special payouts. Bottom line, just the willingness to provide whatever is necessary to make sure that affiliate has whatever he/she needs to continue on and have a successful run.

On another note, even just providing a plan of attack for new affiliates. For instance… if you are able to generate X amount of depositing players in a certain time frame, we will be able to provide you A,B,C to carry on and grow.

Although this is separate from payments, transparency& T’s & C’s, it does foster a trust factor that the program has the best interest for affiliate partners to grow and stay with the Operator.
