innoneMemberI do not yet know which programs will make me the most $$$.
How about you Yvette, do you like to gamble?July 8, 2009 at 2:39 pm #801803Anonymous
InactiveI got a free web host for 2 years when 1&1 was a new company, was a promotion they had to get people to use them. My Buddie had me sign up for it. I had no idea about websites and i wanted to use it so I thought I would make a site about online casinos because i liked to play them.
Well, I had no idea there was an affiliate program system for casinos so I pretty much learned html / php and about affiliate accounts as I played with my free host.
That was July 2004, I think it all paid off very well and I’m still thankful my friend had me sign up lol.

MishaMemberI started doing PPC for poker/casino sites in 2002, and have been hooked on to it since then. PPC for poker paid off really well. Have just started working on bringing in affiliates for a new Bingo site- Xoom Bingo, am hoping things work out just like they did for my Poker PPC campaigns

neophyteMemberlots of greedy people here with no clue about poker, casinos etc.
I started by actually playing for a living, then getting into programming proper, webdev/seo while @ uni – then I continued attacking the gaming vertical. a good way to start imo… moving into finance now, gaming is getting dull.
that’s my daily cynicism fix. :d

But after a while I became trapped in this industry, and now 8 years on I am still here! Maybe destiny!

ClubContMemberBudapest conference might be bigger than London. I don’t know but the feedback I get from affiliates are that most are going and many are changing their minds. Great eastern european city.
As for Las Vegas once the US market is taxed and regulated Las Vegas will become the go to place for conferences. Give it a few years but it will be back I think.

Pam712Memberhow did I get into it?
Back in 2000 I was recruited by a bricks &mortar bookies in the UK (You’ll know their name) to launch their casino (on Crypto).
In my dalliances with casino I came across a very nascent bingo market (10 sites…. imagine that!). Thought there might be an opportunity. Launched a portal (July 2000 – happy 9th birthday, Whichbingo). Was blown away by my first $6 :woohoo: and it went fom there.
Now ? Team of 7, office in Madrid and UK, market leading sites and award winning portals.
