I got paper today from the swedis lotteryinspection, they sue me…

Are they petionting you to stop marketing to Swedish citizens? Or are they disputing a domain you own? Or is their complaint based on content on your site?

I am trying to sort out exactly whats going on…

They sue me becouse i have banners and links that generate money and its only swedishgame (svenska spel) that can do that in sweden…

I have to close my site before april the 5

Hmmm I think I have actually heard this before several years ago.

Is that a Swedish domain? Are you a Swedish citizen?

Can they compel you or your hosting company to close the site?

Can you repackage the content so that you arent targeting Swedish citizens and still operate it?

Surely that is 100% against the EU ?

To say only one company can do it in sweden.

yeh, but the EU still hasnt got enough power…..
governments of the countries can still have a monopolie under certain restrictions…..(Gambelli and Placanica)

actually it was about a landbased casino:

“Bij besluit van 1 april 2003 heeft de Minister van Justitie (hierna: de Minister), mede handelend namens de Minister van Economische Zaken, geweigerd aan de “Compagnie Financière Régionale B.V.” (hierna: CFR) vergunning te verlenen voor het organiseren van een speelcasino te Bergen op Zoom.”
