I am not sure what is ‘best’, but just get a high PR link and you WILL get spidered.
After googlebot comes by once, I create a google sitemap.
The quickest way to get indexed is to have a link on a high PR site. If you were on a PR10 for example, your site would be indexed by Google within a matter of hours, a PR5 probably gets you indexed in a couple of days. Submitting your site via Google’s submit form can take up to a few weeks to get you in their index.
