    My wants are pretty simple – I want everyone’s expectations to be met which is hard because they just keep growing :tongue: Mainly, I want everyone to do loads and loads of business with new and old clients whilst enjoying themselves SO all you affiliates go and see every stand and sponsor (and enjoy it) and make them happy because that makes me happy :3eyes:

    I would say to establish new business, meet new faces, hang out with old contacts/colleagues and generally have a good time getting to know people in your industry.

    We all work very hard & getting to know people on a personal level will help business in the future.

    Furthermore, there is ALWAYS more to get out of these conferences but there isn’t enough time! :)

    There are many programs we are considering to work with , I think for us a face to face meeting will either make or break the deals. We usually go well prepared to meetings with all our questions and concerns in order and if we still are unsure we generally play it safe.Most important for us -if you say you are going to do something then do it.We hate people who just give lip service to work with us then not follow through.Final note -it’s not just about the money ,we understand how difficult it is to launch new casinos or how the payment issues are going.Honesty is most important factor and in this business you have to take some bad with the good ie processor issues etc.

    My business goals are to meet new people and affiliates that i want to work with. I’m also hoping to make some deals for datafeeds that i sell.

    In general it’s about keeping in touch, learning about the people behind the newer programs.

    I agree with all of you.
    As in many issues in life, personal, face to face meetings beats all other types of personal communication. it allows you, not just to ask all the important questions, but maybe more important is to be able to look at the eyes of the other side, and find out who is standing in front of you. The person behind the name and the company you work with. After all, all of us are investing good deal of our time working , and regardless issues such as conversions, retentions cpa’s etc , who are extremely important by them selves, its also nice to find out on a personal level, that the person on the other side of the phone or mail address, is some one trustworthy and nice. And that go’s to both sides. Affiliates and aff. managers.
    It’s a crowded world out there, full of great people and barracudas, but as long as you are honest with your self, and with the people around you, and the ones you work with, and as long as you truly believe in what you do or sell, in an honest way, than you are a already a winner. That is and always will be my personal philosophy and no amount of money or bonusus can and would change that.
