abbykungMemberMe too. Yahoo! is the first search engine I ever used, but I didn’t like it. I thought it gave really weird results lol Hotbot.com was my favourite search engine after that, and I kept using it until Google got into the market

cashforaccountMemberAt my School A can vaguely remember that we were encouraged to use Lycos for some strange reason. I am sure it was the default engine.

misswiggMemberyahoo also, it was a lecturer when I was at Uni that recommended Google before it became popular and non business wise I have never used anything else since

InactiveI used many and not sure which was the first but I remember Yahoo, AltaVista, Excite, and Hotbot – I probably used Excite most because I think it was my ISPs default search engine.

InactiveI remember day trading Infoseek back in the 1990’s, made about $1500 in about 2 hours.
