InactiveI have quite a few
The one at the top of THE Hotel in Vegas – Think it was sponsored by CAP and Rewards Affiliates or was it someone else? Amazing views, bottles everywhere and met some great people – Think it was 2005
EGO and Prime beach party in Cyprus (2008 SpringBreak) – Incredible weather, awesome BBQ, and beutiful location
Referback and Fortune boat party in Miami with the floating fake beach during what was the best event I have ever been to……ever……Sprinbreak 2006
MillionDollarPoker.com Party in Barcelona 2008 – perfect venue where you could talk and relax in an outdoor area and then party in the club – Plus open bar till a time I could not remember
There are loads more but can’t name them all – ChanceRoom, Expekt, loads of C-Planet ones, Gnuf, Zipang, Webroute, 888, Intertops, CWC, Chipleader, ReferSpot, Everest gatherings, Hollywood poker…..
My impression lately is that what will make a great party is somewhere people can still talk, a free bar that goes for as long as possible, a cool and unique venue but not necessarily the best club in the city and therefore the worst prices, great fun music, girls (way too many blokes in our sector), and follow up pics and video if possible – In needs to be memorable and enjoyable which is hard when we have had so many parties in this industry –
I think some of us our spoilt these days and take things for granted, I remembered my first iGaming party and couldn’t believe I got a free beer in a cool club – Emailed so many friends the next day what an amazing industry this is

Correct – we were a co sponsor and I believe it was likely in early 06 because we also sponsored the party in Vegas in September 05 (right after I started here).
The photos from that party were AMAZING! I can’t believe I missed out on that one… Actually come to think of it, I think that was the last vegas conference before the UIGEA got passed. THe view was amazing (especially from the toilet). It’s for this reason that I cannot WAIT to be able to start having conferences back in Vegas. Parties like this one are hard to beat.

This was a great party too with lots of memorable moments… The only problem with that one was that there were not enough toilets so I ended up using the mens. Yes, this is something Aussie chicks do a lot here :sarcasm:
I actually liked the Joker party better. I remember meeting Cobus from Referback and Andre from Villento for the first time, then cutting sick with them on the dancefloor about 5 minutes later to “Show me Love” which was my favourite song at the time… Andre was absolutely KILLING it. Was gold.
Then about half hour later I got a rose from an affiliate. Very sweet

The opening party for CAP Down Under last year was also pretty good.. even though the weather was not the best, I think the atmosphere of the Opera Bar is always superb and perfect for a first timer to Sydney.

I think at one stage someone was daring me to get up on the bar and dance (if you remember, there were those poles in the middle of each bar).. i wish i did now.. I was good though – managed not to flash my ass at anyone

Opera bar may call for a repeat in March

Hopefully we can get more people to Oz this time!October 29, 2009 at 9:57 am #805333Anonymous
InactiveYou are right, that’s one of the good ones Alex. The same year the Stinkyfish party at Stardust was also amazing. The Party at Hippo in London couple of years back was also amazing, don’t remember the sponsor’s name.

InactiveI figured out when the party is advertised with “loud music all night” i often go early.
Dont get me wrong, i love loud music and i go out often to dance but for conference partys i prefer to chill, drink and talk. When the club is a normal club with local visitors then i am fine with loud music. But loud dance music when only industry people are inside the club is not the best idea in my opinion.

That was Fire & Ice at the Hippodrome. I’ve worked the door at every F&I and that year is my personal favourite — loved the burlesque them and the venue was fantastic. Sponsors were Gambling.com Magazine, Next Gen Gaming, ESL, Bluff Europe,
Gilgamesh, where we’re doing Fire & Ice for the second time this year, is also an amazing venue – and one of the few where you can entertain 2000 partiers!
Fire & Ice is between IGE and LAC so if you’re travelling to London for LAC be sure to arrive a couple of days early so you can join us on the 27th!

Vpoker_BrazilMemberIn 2002 there was a nice conference in the Bahamas. the party there was amazing and I had a GREAT TIME. After that I would have to say Pubcon. Maybe London 2010 will beat them though!

InactiveThe best one for me was the Million Dollar Poker party in Barcelona, absolutely awesome. Free bar until whatever o’ clock, great stuff!
Second has to be the Hippodrome Fire & Ice, absolute pandemonium.

That was a really good party.i enjoyed it. Only problem is that it takes so long to get drinks as they were understaffed.
