    IMO …

One page sites don’t seem to get good rankings on the search engines as they don’t seem to have enough content, detail or links to rate well enough.

If you think about it – what possible reason could a SE have to consider a stand-alone page as being a top destination ?
    :dozing:

Of course there is no harm in trying …

I just copied my best producing site onto two other domains that was empty.all i did was change the banners , switched up a couple casinos on each page so it appears different ,renamed a few pages and it already has hits.I figure it is better than letting them sit and do nothing.

I read somewhere that Google see all pages as “standalones”… I actually have some 1 page domains that is on first page on my main keyword… I guess I only need more links to make it too the top…

The reason I think that bigger sites rank better is because they got more backlinks… You know if you have a “home” link on every page and got 10,000 pages, you’ll have 10,000 backlinks right there… you wont with a standalone page, but if you get quality backlinks from other sites I think you shuld get good rankings

You shuld try it… What can you loose? :notify:

This will get into a SE debate quickly I imagine.

I had read that the predominance (or at least appreaance) of the keyword in OTHER pages on the same domain had significant importance.

Certainly this seems the case for COMPETITIVE keywords.
Any old page can rank for a keyword that is not being targetted.
