The question is – does this topic have enough emotional “charge” for it to create the kind of revolt necessary to make govt change? I am really not sure. Clearly U.S. Citizens are outraged and most of you probably saw the comments being made on the DOJ’s Facebook page before they blocked commenting.
But how does it go to the next level, and can it?

I think that we can start this off by simply posting on Twitter and Facebook and other Social Media about this. One person can make a difference. Remember, those Middle East uprisings going on right now all started on Facebook – true story.
When others know they are not alone, things happen quickly today, all due to the power of the internet.
Let’s use what we have to multiply our efforts.
Affiliates alone probably won’t produce enough of a ‘roar’. We’ll need the help of ordinary citizens that gamble online as well.
I’m sure there’s a lot of them as well right now po’d that they can’t withdraw their winnings.
Once we join forces….i’m in.

casius14MemberIts getting a little news via the internet… google “DOJ Facebook” and see how many articles come up about online poker… you can also post at The United States Department of Justice | Facebook
I have written to some people and sent a few emails.. Im down for whatever it takes… Im hella angry as the DOJ jacked me for $2k I had in my quicktender account… I was able to cashout 4k just before that (thank god)….
But as I promote online casinos for a living now (and really enjoy doing it)… So im down as well.

AdultlexiconMemberAlright, I think its close to the time where we need to have our voices heard.
Instead of just sittin back & taking it on the chin while both the affiliate programs & the DOJ quietly take our money..
We need to join forces with GPWA and others & get stuff done.

I think it was getting to the next level with Stars, Tilt actively involved in the US – lobbying in a round about way, sponsoring tournaments, being in the public’s face – the DOJ removing them from the US as they did re Black Friday – took us down a level.

daniel asanteMemberI believe if a group of people make a portfolio with information and facts about how good can be to the USA economy if they make gambling legal. They can gain a lot from taxes and people will always will find a way to make a bet.
