InactiveLMAO – theyve even copied your link partners and your banners which contain your linking code

GuestI don’t see the benefit in copying a website like that….
But if there are any, don’t explain it, or we’ll have an epidemic of spawned sites, as many strangers lurk here….December 29, 2004 at 1:29 am #659425Anonymous
InactiveWow, that sucks.
And geez, what a sloppy job they did. None of the graphics work, and almost none of the menu links work. They changed one link (the “Poker Rules Home” link) to point to http://www.a-place-in-the-sun.biz, and it looks like they left everything else alone.
I don’t understand why someone would do this. How does this help them? So they got one more link pointing to a-place-in-the-sun.biz…. on a site with a PR of 0. What a strange and stupid thing to do.

InactiveThat’s funny,
I just got my website copied the same way, with banners and all…word for word, all 10,000 frickin pages!
:Ohno:

Guestya that bad thing here is that the SEs could spot it and ban either one or both sites.
I was talking to Krystall about this just yesterday and I think if google, or yahoo or whoever, is going to take that stance of banning for the reason of spam, that they easily have to resources to find out which site was there first.
and that they should make this small effort or stand to lose quality sites since they are bound to pick the cheat 50% of the time to leave up.
and I ask you, despite the fact that both sites look pretty much the same. knowing that most the links don’t work, the images aren’t there, is it in google’s favor to choose to ignore this and allow perhaps as much as 50% of the sites that come back in their results having the difference you see now between the two sites?
whether they’ll be that smart or not; remains to be seen, but it IS in their own behalf to take some sort of stance on being a just policer, and not just a policer.

Inactivehey Mongoose, did you notice that “they” have Video Poker Junkie as a link and you don’t………….does this mean they are a Cindy lover?
Also many links at bottom changed, I noticed mine and several CAP members are still up on his page, wondering how long it’ll be before the asshole emails us to exchange with him as well. I think we should all write a common email to him explaining why we won’t! -
