Never wish to comment on our competitors, but I was trawling through Alexa this afternoon and noticed a dramatic drop in Mansion Casino’s traffic ranking.

My guess is that they have literally switched off a sizeable network tap because that is a significant drop!

August 27, 2008 at 5:12 pm #776949AnonymousInactiveA whole lot of previously very highly ranked sites at Alexa took a recent nose dive. Alexa changed the way they compute things.
G&C dropped also, and nothing at all has changed on our end.
August 27, 2008 at 7:12 pm #776961ZlzmbmaxMemberWould anybody mind if I ignored your explanation, Dom and went with Tom’s?
:roflmao:In this particular case I find his response much more pleasing!:roflmao:
OK, OK, I’m just kidding. I don’t REALLY bear (much of) a grudge with Mansion!
August 27, 2008 at 8:18 pm #776967biggygMemberI own about 500 websites and alexa hasnt changed much .I do own one site that has alexa in the 15,000 range ,it is a free hosting site for software downloads that i host for some univerity programs and literally thousands of students go there daily. My guess is mansions traffic rating of 6588 was probably of the artificial kind and they just stopped cooking the server or they had some massive paid traffic campaign that ended.
August 27, 2008 at 8:59 pm #776968Scratch2CashMemberLike always Dom hit the nail on the head. Alexa changed the way they rank web sites. Not sure people should put to much weight in Alexa ranks – but that is just me.
