Its a long story Oz, but basically he was placed on “Vacation” from CAP for some unacceptable behavior. He had the opportunity to return, but instead chose to burn his bridges here. I wish him the best of luck in the future, but I doubt he will be back on CAP. He is available at GPWA.

That’s a shame. I was just thinking the other day, I wonder what happened to him. Thanks for letting me know.
Yes I was extremely disapointed also. I dont know what came over him, but there is nothing we can do. He’s a grown man and chooses his own path. In the past he had several episodes where he took time off to get things sorted out and we took him back, but this last time he really went out of his way to burn his bridges with CAP and with me personally. Like I said I STILL dont know why it happened but it did.:unhappy:

I have stayed in touch with Peter to some extent. I cannot begin to get into his issues with CAP but can say I miss his posts as he was always almost over-the-top in selfless behavior ….. choosing to spend his time chasing down BH tactics which were done to other members of the society.
I can also add that Peter has had some extreme bad luck …. though that is not really a worthy explanation ….. as it doesn’t really begin to explain all this poor man has endured in recent history and I won’t go into all of it but I will mention he’s had some serious health issues and the medication he’s been on is likely the reason for any unstable behavior issues with CAP/ the Prof.
I have tried to explain to him that Lou is an understanding and caring person and that IMHO …. due to the circumstances that he truly was not himself …. things going bad, being on meds …. can make a person angry and lash out at those who are undeserving and that in a more sober moment . … the person probably wouldn’t have acted in such manner.
That said; I don’t expect Lou to go apologizing … as from best of my understanding .. that ball is in Peter’s court. I wish he’d make the effort because as mentioned I think Lou would be willing to forgive and forget and move on.
Please forgive me Prof I am speaking out of turn. Its just that I feel I know you both fairly well and I believe an understanding can be come to …. and allow for both to move forward without hard feelings though I know that’s tough sometimes … especially when things are in print and act as a reminder of unpleasantries endured.
Greek is available at GPWA …but I don’t know for how long as I know he’s having very tough times and has spoken more than once of giving up this industry.
On a more personal note i know I have at times over-stepped my bounds and thank Prof for allowing me benefit of doubt and never taking any thing personally.
This industry is a passionate one … and there are going to be disagreements and I think that’s not bad thing. I am greatful for having mods that can see the bigger picture … and hope they will continue in such fashion.
Every time we lose an aff peer. it hurts us as a whole. No forum is going to be the success it can be …. without people to post. I hope folks take this into consideration in the future before allowing things to get so out of hand that we lose any more aff peers because if we stand divideded… the programs will run over us with predatory terms, etc. This is proven already. And the only times we got these sort of things reversed was because we stood together. Please keep that in mind all.
