    Ok but why is their affiliate link removed from Phoenician? Not that it matters much but isn’t that kinda strange?

    We stand behind places who are under attack, Dean.

    There are no apologies necessary, and we all hope it gets resolved soon. :D

    Ok…

    Let’s all throw in $50 and get a pool going:

    How many month’s will these attackers keep trying to extort cash form casinos before 1) they realize they are wasting their time, or 2) the casinos are strong enough to withstand the attacks unaffected?

    I imagine they are going to be something to just get used to dealing with until such a time comes that there is a way to “police ” the net at least to the extent of stopping these attacks.

    but aren’t they usually launched from a 3rd party PC who has no idea its being done?

    and as far as “before they realize its a waste of time”,

    I’ll guess about three to five years before all of them are gone. It takes a certain kind of person to be willing to do this shit and I can almost guarantee you that none of them fit a profile of somebody that you’d want for a neighbor.

    So they’ll never be “too busy” to click a couple of buttons to send off something that will cause others unhappiness. Some are pretty professional, or so I’ve read about them. They will quit soon after no casinos pay. They’ve got other schemes and the like going on that WILL pay money.

    but the ones that come up with shit like this in the first place are destructive people that truly are beyond reach or help, they’ll use it as long as they can do it without risk of being caught / prosecuted whether there is money at stake or not;
