InactiveI think the first issue would be the fact that it looks like a portal and not a casino. Alot of the casinos catering the North American markets have PSD “slice and dice” graphics heavy index pages. Easy on text with a HUGE play now button instead of all the text links to the games. That would be a start.

InactiveThat’s really helpful.
Any more observations anyone?
Thanks

InactiveI find the design refreshing and for once more appealing to women, who are, after all, dominant in the American market.
Since the attraction of the site, what makes it different from the run of the mill casino, is the great variety of games, with the casino games being the minority.
I would stick with displaying the games, the ladies love playing all these soft games! If you make a normal casino front, no one will know!
I am definitely going to promote this program.

InactiveWell – seeing as Im a guy I cant speak for the women. And I cant say that the index was not appealing in a way. Just not along the same lines as my experience tells me works. I have a considerable amount of click data to base this perception on and it doesnt tell me whether the visitor is male or female. Just players. Women do play a considerable if not dominant role in the player marketplace but a broad appeal is what you should be shooting for.

InactiveOf course you are right, DVS.
Women tread easily on male territory these days, we are used to it. Men, however, are very reluctant to tread on female territory.
Still, the main feature that makes this place different from a casino is the game selection.
The huge number of instants and slots has it’s definite following. It still needs to be featured prominently.

InactiveThanks for the support and the alternative point of view Dominique
I really appreciate both views.
It’s really hard to know for a fact what will work in a different territory. We have been very successful in the UK with our product but that in itself doesn’t guarantee success overseas.
Is there anything else that we should be thinking about? (However obvious it may be to you)

For sure. Perhaps the key there would be to keep the games as easily accessed (just create a user name, enter email and your off) with a feature graphic or fast loading flash to show off the game assortment. Just not all the text links.

InactiveSounds like a plan.
I like the
(just create a user name, enter email and your off)
especially.
I see this type of place being very attractive to novice players, and they are most likely to join if it’s easy.
Frankly, there are so many casinos out there, the competition is getting worse and worse. Just look at that crazy bonus war!
I rarely show any interest in a new casino anymore – unless it shows some definite differences from the norm. New casinos have a honeymoon phase, I may use that occasionally – but they all disappear into oblivion it seems after a short time.
I am interested in this one because of the different games it offers.
So I agree:
with a feature graphic or fast loading flash to show off the game assortment.
Sounds like a plan to me!

GuestI like the layout very much. I agree it will appeal to women and to new gamblers.
All the casinos look pretty much alike these days. This layout is great, especially if the focus of the casino is slots and bingo.
But I’m a woman, so my view is apparently “alternative” (To what I wonder?).
lol

InactiveHi Fergie, Dominique and dvs007
Thanks for taking a look and feeding back. I have passed on your comments to our development team. If you spot anything else, feel free to pass it on.
One big question for us is what kind of deal should we offer US affiliates like yourselves?
In the UK, 50p a free player plus 20% – 25% profit share is a popular model that has been working well.
Would this kind of deal work with US affiliates? or should we be thinking about something else?
