I just noticed that localphoneservice.com sold for $1 million, i wouldn’t exactly call that a craze that is over
here is a list of recently purchased domain names and the price they sold for, gambling only domains
I wouldn’t exactly relate 1 million as a comparison to what domains were selling for in the 80’s. I would rather not comment any further, except to say I do not think name calling and curb bashing is the right way to go. greek39
Damn Greek, nobody cares about your petty squables with Mir, you guys just dismissed the fact that domain name buying/selling could be profitable, at first i thought that too, but after looking closer there is a market for it
To me it’s very similar to trading cards, getting a good domain is like finding a valuable rookie card, people will want to buy it
Obviously it’s not as hot as it once was, but there is money to be made, and very little risk of losing money
I am gonna check it out first hand for myself and see
