What a great article, and very inspirational for affiliates. To become a successful affiliate, you need to have those great qualities that Steve possessed (a willingness to learn, perseverance, and optimism). Those qualities were really needed this year for affiliates, especially after Black Friday (one of the toughest times ever for gambling affiliates). Steve Jobs was a genius, and he should not only be remembered for what he accomplished, but we should also learn from his examples so we can become more successful ourselves

Well said, cardirss. Lots of affiliates experienced challenges this year, and it’s helpful to get those reminders of inspiration. In the words of Steve Jobs, “Stay hungry, stay foolish.”
That you can force people to do business your way, and you can charge high fees to publishers if you own the market. Apple Store.
If your product is premium and you deliver to the needs of your target market, publishers would be willing to pay those high fees just to have access to that market.
Then Android comes along, and makes it easier with fewer boundaries.

Nonetheless, I still feel that Steve Jobs has brought a lot to this world and has changed our generation through his leadership at Apple. And, that he provides some valuable wisdom to learn from.

I don’t know if they movie is accurate but Steve Jobs was portrayed so negatively that I ended up rooting for Bill Gates! It’s a really entertaining movie. Do a POSV + megavideo search.

Definitely interested in checking this out. Bottom line… no one is perfect. And… you can’t believe what’s in the movies!
