InactiveI have seen a big drop in those as well, mainly due to the payment processor issues. Fortune affiliates does well for me now, but they also signed up thier players with quicktender right at the start. I also do well marketing RTG casinos as well as Vegas Tech ones.
Fortunately I never gave up my day job as I always thought this biz was as risk to come to a sudden end, although it has not is good to have a backup plan.

InactiveI chalk up alot of US player issues to FEAR – I find alot of people are afraid to deposit – thinking that they’ll never receive a payout from a WIN – due to cashout restrictions and limitations. Some have even e-mailed stating a feeling that they’re being “watched” (internet big brother).
Half my players were burned when Neteller ceased US operations – money was witheld and just trying to find a deposit solution was such a pain in the ass they simply gave up and no longer play.
The US is no longer a market that puts food on the table – I have like yourself tried every possible way to increase player retention and sign ups.
If you come up with any great ideas – I could use a hand as well.

InactiveHi giggles,
I think it’s the fact that it’s hard to deposit and even harder to withdraw. I have changed the brands that I market to the ones that can pay me in a manner that works with for and my players without taking a risk of having funds held.
I’ve lost a lot of players from those sites you listed as well so I’m not sure what the deal is there.
I get paid monthly with the following programs that either pay by bank wire, check via fed ex, western union, money gram or quick tender so I focus mainly on them. One site even set up a visa card in another country for me to be paid monthy.
Club USA
Intertops
Sloto cash casino
Fortune affiliates
Mainstreet
iNetbet
Gambling Wages
Vegas Affiliates
Vegas PartnersYou should also learn to do SEO so that you can have more control over what type of visitors you attract. The majority of my traffic has come from SEO.
Good luck to you. I know it’s hard, but hang in there because I do believe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

InactiveI have found that to get casino players, you must always promote. That’s why I sold my casino sites.
On the other hand, sports betting is more difficult to get players. However, once you get them, they do bet.
What you might try doing is promoting sports betting and add a section on your site that promotes casinos. Alot of people are finding their incomes have been reduced that promote casinos.
I also suggest that you try SEO (It has really hepled me when I re did my site) as well as manual traffic exchanges).September 26, 2007 at 11:33 pm #750061Anonymous
InactiveThank you so much, you guys are great for taking the time to talk.

InactiveHi giggles,
I will go thru my stuff and email you links to some sites that helped me to learn it.
Here are a couple links to get you started until I can sort thru my other information:
SEO tutorial – http://www.increaseranking.com/seotutorial.html
Webmaster forum – http://www.webmasterworld.com/home.htmIt’s good that you have time on your hands because it took me a awhile to read and understand how it all works. If you need help then just email me your questions and I’ll do my best to help ya.
BTW do you have a domain for a portal? I don’t think ezboard is very SEO friendly and you are limited to what you can control. If not then get one asap and have it ready to do SEO on it once you learn how to do it.

SEO = Search Engine Optimisation.
Bascially – it’s constructing your websites in such a way that it tells the search engines (google, yahoo, msn etc) as much as possible about the content on your site …
Read the tutorials above for a general idea …

Riiigghhhht – well I can see why you have ZERO revenue then.
:Cry:You say that you’ve marketed my ass off – but you haven’t even considered SEO ?!! Boy- no wonder you’re broke !!
What on earth do you consider marketing ?
:sarcasm:SEO is the prime way of telling NEW people about your site – and having them find you – for 99.9% of sites anyway.
Without good search engine hits you will quickly run out of new customers. Exisiting links that you have on other sites will only take you so far – unless you have exceptional partners who are so great at SEO that they’re so many new customers that some are reaching you that way.
You don’t have a choice
– either adjust your thinking and start thinking SEO seriously
– or …. you’ll go brokeSeptember 27, 2007 at 12:21 pm #750084
voodoomanMemberI am a total newbie to affiliate marketing and website design. I realized very early on that SEO is critical to get visitors to your site. The best thing about it is that if you do it yourself and do it properly it’s absolutely FREE.
Type “secure online casino” into Googles search engine and you should see my site xxgamingportal.co.zaxx listed some where in the top twenty listings. For a newbie like me thats not bad. (Pat on the back).

biggygMemberWithout search engine traffic especially google it is impossible to make money.
If you dont know seo ,may be wise to pay somebody to do ONPAGE SEO with your keywords .Some SEO will do on and off page , backlink placements etc for $200+ a month.SEO is usually one expense you never regret spending.September 27, 2007 at 12:55 pm #750089Anonymous
InactiveTry promoting the US programs that are currently working well for people: Rushmore, Mainstreet, Pantasia, SlotoCash

InactiveOk, i got a big drop in my income as well, but never give up,
i went from $xx,xxxx a month to just a few thousands but i was prepared when i was making that money.
Besides improve my rankings with SEO for my casino e poker sites i started to look at other sources like cpa deals (non gaming), even adsense.
So, try to focus in the few affiliate programs that still are taking US players and give them your premium ad space.
Do SEO!!! After that MORE SEO!!!
One thing i never forgot when i came to this forum in 2004: Never put all eggs in one basket.
Thanks to Professor for that.
Take care

Hi
or am i being screwed?
thanks in advance
tripI’d rather bet on this one.
My earnings started a free-fall in last may. Only 7 months after UIGEA. For 7 months I didn’t feel UIGEA had any impact on my earnings, so Im still puzzled what gone off in May? One of my best earner-BS..become one of the worst, but it occurs all across the industry. Whales are all gone or become small fishes. There is a good percentage of of guest players and sign ups, but fewer depositors and depositors deposit only small amounts. Mostly the minimum. And what UIGEA has to do with the late payments and no payments at all? Im in Europe and using the same payment options as before.
The Aff programs are outside US, why is more difficult to pay into Moneybookers or wire the payment to EU? I bet they riding on the UIGEA horse with a sword in they hand and shaving our heads off.
Just my 2 cents.September 28, 2007 at 3:16 am #750145Anonymous
InactiveThanks to everyone, i value all opinions and i really appreciate the candiness of everyone. so i know now that i have been fucking up. and i plan on changing that.
To Paul…thanks for the slap in the face. i needed that, i had no idea how badly i was marketing my board. you are correct, i have been going to all kinds of sites, leaving my link and promoting anythingi have going on. but thats it. now i know that is really just a waste of all my time.
i will be studing and reading everything that Gamtrak showed me, and i will be asking more quesitons if its ok with you all.

Take that “can do” attitude – and get stuck in.
And you WILL get results.
