Daddy CoolMemberNo real need for a petition. Put your money where your mouth is and drop the site for their rivals and petition for others to do the same. Then again that would need a petition so carry on:roflmao:
Affiliates have power they dont use. Sites use the divide and conquer strategy which has been biting the smaller affiliate in the backside for years. Now they have went across the board and attacked all affiliates, they may have stumbled on a problem.
Simple, universally drop them for better terms. Corpsfan1, you still promote AP/UB. This is similar, many reputable sites have dropped them. That may answer your thoughts.

InactiveAP/UB has nothing to do with this issue.
They are starting to treat affiliates BETTER…rather than worse.
I think that what happened at AP can only IMPROVE the industry in terms of security and standards.

It has everything to do with the issue. AP/UB have fallen short on many areas. They still do. Watch this space. I bet the transitional period means several complaints
To rephrase
They are starting to treat ME ME ME BETTER.
Divide and conquer.
Relate that to your Full Tilt post and tell me it is unrelated

InactiveI don’t think I have been treated any differently by AP/UB than anyone else…why are you taking this post off topic?
This is an AFFILIATE issue…not a “there was cheating at XXX site issue” which is a player issue.
I guess you agree with predatory terms?

InactiveLet’s please stay on topic here. this thread is about predatory terms at
I think it is about Full Tilt removing players from affiliate accounts after 60 days of no deposit.
Not sure though, I didn’t get the newsletter and it isn’t quoted over there.

Nothing I have posted has been off topic.
AP/UB are reluctant to post replies to common complaints. The PM me response is laughable when It affects everyone.
No, they do not treat equally.
Yes, this is an affiliate issue. You are the only person who has mentioned cheating ion this thread.
Yes, I agree with you on the predatory terms. AP/UB have been adding them for the last year or so. How big was your voice then? And why are you not shouting from the roofs now?
Your complaint on Full Tilt is justified, but in comparison to Absolute Poker, it is evident it is for selfish reasons. its going to hit you personally in the pocket so everyone sign a petition.
Self centred affiliates are the reason the sites get away with murder. you are just another groupie:inlove:

InactiveHey Dom,
Quoted on first page of this thread:
The other thread is to the petition/poll…this is the BIG thread about it…and affiliates are pissed!
Here is the quote below:
As an affiliate, we want to make sure you get the credit you deserve for directing real-money players to Full Tilt Poker.
Our Affiliate Agreement defines a real money player as someone who makes their first real money deposit within 60 days of signing up on our site.Beginning April 1st, any player who waits longer than 60 days to make their first deposit will not be credited to any affiliate account. Make sure you don’t lose any of the credit – or players – you deserve. Use our promotions and advice to help turn your play money accounts into real money in your pockets.

InactiveAre you kidding me?
Maybe you should read the MAIN post about this.
I am not creating this “petition” for me alone, but for the HUNDREDS of pissed off affiliates at PAP.
And as for Chipleader, just because they don’t have dozens of AMs to sit there and respond to posts here…doesn’t mean they aren’t doing their jobs.
Also, I do not know what you mean about predatory terms as it relates to AP?
And as for “groupie” – I have been in this business for over 5 years.
Anyways, as Dom mentioned, and I have mentioned, can we please get back to the whole point of this post????

InactiveSusanandmark, this is a professional forum and personal attacks are NOT tolerated.
If you would like to speak about Absolute, start a thread or respond to one of the many threads in existance about them.

InactiveDom, maybe you could just delete any posts in this thread except for the ones with the links in them?
Thanks!

InactiveCAP does not delete posts except by request of the poster.
Now lets get past this.

InactiveEverybody knows my position on AP/UB. IMO it is almost the same as it does nothing but hurt affiliates. AP has cheated affiliates and players for over a year and then even went on to try to steal almost $1,000,000 in an inside fraud ring. They are also going to remove all VP247 affiliates from their players when they merge with AP if they had an account at both (which is almost all players). I’m not sure why there was little uproar here about that.
I agree FTP’s term is garbage. If anyone wants to post details of a petition or attempt to organize this feel free to post a link to your idea/petition in the affiliate forum at 2+2. The same should be done about the other poker programs out there that have done far worse though.
BTW these U.S. poker rooms are going to get worse and worse about this kind of stuff unless people stand up to them. This is why I’ve tried so hard to get people to leave AP/UB. Nobody did and every month or two there is more shady behavior. If FTP gets away with this what will they try next?

Dominique, with all due respect. that was not a personal attack. I was making a point on attitudes. Not everyone has a common goal. Sometimes it suits certain individuals to create the illusion of a common goal but I was merely indicating instances when this might not be the case. I was pointing out that the war strategy classic of divide and conquer was very relevant to this thread.
For the record, I agree with the OP’s point about predatory terms. His attitude is does not fill me with respect. On his reccomendation, i do not want my posts deleted
