You know I have to beg to differ there… On New Years just gone I didn’t drink but smoked a full pack of cigarettes and woke up in the morning feeling as though i’d drank a couple bottles of wine…
I think they are thinking about putting warnings on alcohol bottles etc here now.. Our stop smoking campaigns are the best in the world apparently… They are pretty gruesome.. especially when you’re eating your breakfast/lunch/dinner..YUK

Do they work though? Have you quit?I have to say.. I was pondering the changes at CAP, thinking about how big it’s gotten. I can’t even find the Services and Content area anymore. I click my name.. go to my profile.. look up my old threads, and then that takes me to the place to post.

So.. I’m thinking that. As I’m reaching for this little miniature Blackberry Merlot wine bottle my sister gave me tonight.. going to pour a glass while I peruse the forums..
And just as I reach for the wine glass, I read the title.. “Warning on Wine Bottles”.

I have never been addicted – each time I’ve quit has been cold turkey.. I usually only smoke on the weekends and only if I’m around people that smoke, but after deciding to quit this time I’ve been around the party situations and not been tempted. I think I’m getting to an age where I have to start looking after myself a lot more or I’m going to suffer the consequences a lot more than when I was younger and that’s motivation in itself never to have another cigarette.
I’ve been trying to cut down on the cigarettes, too.
At the moment I’m getting through one, maybe two…
lighters a day. Is that too much?
